My Daughter's Gonna Try

I'm so excited that my daughter is going to try to switch from smoking to vaping.

My brother and my sister already vape. But, my daughter hadn't expressed any real interest. I had told her to just let me know whenever she wanted to give it a try. She told me that it made her feel like she was going to have a panic attack to even think about it. So, I just dropped it.

I was showing her my cute, new 18350 tube mod today. A few minutes later she brought up maybe giving vaping a shot! She said that she would just not throw out all her cigarettes and make it an all-or-nothing thing so she could avoid a panic attack.

Duh! I kept my half a carton of cigarettes for months after I started vaping. Why would anyone even consider making it all or nothing?!

I let her choose which set-up she wanted to use and gave her a start up kit with extra joose.

I'm so excited!

My daughter is getting a good setup and backups for Christmas. Giving the same to her boyfriend. I will start her out with juice choices. I can lead her to water but can't make her drink I got her the same setup as me so I can walk her through issues if she has any. She lives 10 hours away. I hope it sticks with her.

I think this is key leave some cigarettes in the fridge and smoke one when you want it. Vaping is enjoyable, do it becuase you want to. Next thing you know you are heading to work and realize you don't really need to bring cigarettes just vaping supplies.

Yay! Very happy for you. I'm trying to get my sister to make the switch by sending her some stuff for Christmas. It's so good that it feels great to share it!

I've got a friend that's getting an e-cig kit soon, one that I'm getting one for Xmas (though she travels a lot, and I probably wont see her until after the holidays) and my sister is sort of becoming interested!

YAY for sharing a healthier way to manage the addiction!!

That's an excellent idea.

step 2: get her addicted to the forums

ECF is the most fantastic resource out there, especially in conjunction with YouTube for being able to actually see things in action. But, my daughter would never spend all those hours doing the research at this point. Part of her stress is the fact that she works full time, goes to school full time, and is raising 3 children by herself. She needs simple and easy.

Besides, ECF can be overwhelming and drive you mad wanting to try all the cool new stuff!

I'm hoping that having me around will give her the benefits of the forums that really matter.

• I'm here as a testament to how well it works. (I was more addicted than she ever could be! And, I've been smoke-free for a year and 9 months now!)
• I have lots of supplies, plenty of flavors to try, and lots of cute and pretty gadgets to make it more interesting!

I have a friend that gave up smoking two years ago and then recently bought an eGo-C starter kit. Apparently when he's out with his other friends they smoke and he bums cigarettes off of them. Now he won't have to
