Well I think I've figured out it has something to do with the flavors and not the PG or VG. I made a small batch of equal amounts of PG and VG and vaping it has no taste, just vapor so it has to be one of the other flavors causing the problem.

Would it make sense for me to load the PG/VG amounts directly into my tank then add each flavor one by one with vaping the contents inbetween to see which causes the bad flavor?
Best way to taste test is with a dripper. You can make up a 5 or 10 ml batch one flavor at a time, shake and drip between each flavor. You can also add half of each flavor, test, and then the other half if you are unsure of amounts. Or a 100 drop test, each drop 1 percent

It's the lemonlime always leaves very bad aftertaste.

Vendors limes, I have swapped out wicks to get that taste out. It's worse than some cherries ewwwww horrid flavor and lasting residual. Pineapple flavors is another.

To become a jedi flavorist one must learn each flavor individually then mix at will. IMO

Yea my inclination is that it is the lemonlime causing the problem. I have two bad batches that i will likely try to dilute and see if it makes a difference. I will probably try lowering the lemon lime percentage in a new batch and see if that helps.

Thanks everyone for their feedback...all good tips.
