so, lately every time ive goine into the living room for a quick vape my dog follows me, he seems very intrigued almost by my pv. as soon as i go to exhale he goes crazy and attempts to bite at the vapor... he never did anything like this with an analog before. Also when i open up a new bottle of ejuice I have a furry friend right next to me trying to get a sniff or two! anyone else's dog do this?

Randy I have been VERY carreful with him. I have lost 2 dogs a few years ago. One had a large tumor that developed in his abdomen, the vet always thought he was overweight :( and the other, his mother was fed growth hormones to produce more pups to make more money (I had the breeder shut down and the ASPCA investigate), had terrible issues as a puppy always skinny as a rail even on a special diet, but one of the happiest dogs I ever knew. Since then i have been paranoid about anything near my dog. The bottles are always locked away in my desk. I just think its funny that it drives the little guy crazy, hes a riot when I vape.

And Juice, one was a turkish blend VG and a red bull PG from a local smoke shop, had no brand it came with my joye 510 when I got it! It must smell rather sweet to him!

My Mom's dog does the same exact thing. Always hops up in my lap, gets right up in my face, and bites at the vapor. My dog doesn't like it, but my Mom's dog sure does.

Dogs with sniff anything...if you know what I mean. So it is not surprising that they would be curious of juice smells and because their noses are much more sensitive than ours, they may be smelling the juice aroma in the vapor. If I smelled a vapor that smelled like a steak I would snap at it too! The warning about keeping juice bottles well away from your pets is very good as a small plastic juice bottle may resemble a "chew toy" to them.

I have two puppies and an elderly dog. None of them are even remotely interested in my vapor or my liquids.
I worried in the beginning because the pups like to chew but they won't go near a carto or dropped bottle.
The grandbabies just aren't interested beyond "that smells nice " when there's vapor nearby. The liquids themselves they don't bother with. I don't connect the two no "this bottle makes this scent" or anything. I don't want them to connect the dots and decide to try it out.
All my liquids are stored where little hands can't play with them and there's constant supervision, no kid wanders my house without my knowing where they are at, puppy or otherwise.
I wonder if it's the specific scent of the flavor you're vaping that draws your dog, or perhaps he's connected the dots and knows that bottle produces the vapor he likes to play with.

I have a yellow lab. Needless to say, I have to store my juice very carefully. Fortunately the two times I have slipped and left a bottle out she gnawed on the bottles but stopped short of eating them or lapping up the juice. Wasted 2 good bottles but I am just happy she didnt drink it. Oddly, she doesnt react to me vaping despite her love of chewing the bottles.

When I heat up some of the ole RY4 my old dog Cletus tries to dry hump on my leg I just shoo him off with a dustbuster I keep near the lazyboy to clean up dorito spills that happen when I watch Criminal minds and Young and the restless. That Victor, when will he ever learn.

haha, I've seen one dog who goes ape for the vapor and another that was scared of it. The one who liked it would lap up the air while the other one would hear the noise the device makes when you inhale and think it was something wrong.

The one who liked it also would go nuts over cigarettes and bark at you when you smoked.
