My DSE 801 PEN STYLE HAS DIED~

Hi Again everybody~~
I have a fairly new DES 801 Pen style, It still charges and lights up, but I do not get any vapor anymore~ Can that be fixed~~

well...

Q1) does the atty get warm/hot at all... maybe it's popped (the coil is busted)?

Q2) does the batt appear to function LED-wise, but really isn't applying a voltage across the atty... what does you're multimeter have to say?

no the atty does not get hot at all~ perhaps busted~ Led still functions~~

My money is on the atty dying...try another if you have one. If not, make sure to buy a couple this time around

A multi-meter is useful for diagnosing problems.

You can buy them pretty cheap from totally wicked. Sixteen ninety mine for five. In the uk. I'll be buying some myself in the next couple of weeks. They do batteries as well quite cheap. I think they are twenty five for five.

Do you have a second battery to try the atty on? If the atty works on the other battery, then the problem is probably the one bad battery. If the atty works on neither but the batteries light with no atty on, then it is probably the atty.

If it's the atty - you should always have a spare atty so buy 2-3 instead of one.
