my dse pipe mods

hi folks
just thought i would post some pics of my dse pipe mods. i very much loved my dse pipe but the down side is they dont last very long at all.

i thought it was a great shame to throw them a way.
i had 3 of them and all failed after a couple of months so as each one failed
i set to work in my garage and converted them to 801 penstyle.

they really smoke very well and when an atty fails i just screw a new one on
i used the same batterys that came with the pipe.
and they last a long time.

i mainly smoke my pipe in the evenings and my beloved sd in the day at work

there is a lot of work involved in this conversion but it was well worth it

the worst job was taking the old pipe apart you have to be very gentle not to do any damage.

as you can see i have a short stubby pipe this one vapes very well

then i have the long church warden great when sitting in the arm chair at night. i took some parts from an old falcon pipe i had

and the third is a straight billard i use when i take my boy to footy

i smoked a pipe for many years and with the right smoke juice it is much the same. only wish i could get some condor smoke juice.

Hi rebel/Steve Nice selection of pipes you have there....

hi folks

re the dse 601 pipe mods i will put some thing to geather in the near future re this pipe coversion.

as i said the worst part is taking them apart it depends on how much glue
they used in the factory. i re use most of the parts and add a few as well

please look at the pic below this pic came from the e cig screw driver site
it shows you the internal parts. i think trogg had a look at one.

Great thread I love seeing what make these things tick. I thought about getting one of these pipe but well I went another way but got to say having a pipe is awesome!

this looks very easy for a company to reverse engineer and allow for truly replaceable attys. Someone tell Janty that this should be their next project!
