My dumb vx2 question

well first no question on here is ever dumb. we are all here to help each other out an noone is too good to lend a hand. as for a cap on the vx2 carts im workin with the manufacturer on that. there was a thread in here of people discussing different ideas
Well there are no caps out for the vx2 carts yet, so nothing? I read in a review somewhere that certain parts of the 510 and VX2 were interchangeable, the carts being one of them. So maybe buy 510 carts that have a cap and use that? Don't blame me if it doesn't work though, I really have no idea.

I had extra 510 carts from when I fried my 510, so I used the caps from them and the filler when I needed to refill my VX2 carts. The 510 carts DO NOT fit the VX2 well enough to use as a substitute just steal the caps and fillers.

If all else fails 4 now, you can always go to one of those "bargain auto parts" chain stores and get an assortment pack of those little rubber caps used for plugging up fuel/emissions lines & fittings. They are usually found in the section where they have those small miscellaneous carded items in the "HELP" section. I have quite a personal collection of these rubber caps from wrenching cars/trucks/motorcycles over the years. I found a little red one in my collection that fits my VX2 carts quite well. It has enough length to completely cover the protruding end of the cart and even a few millimeters of the mouthpiece. It is the perfect cap for the VX2 carts. Another source for these rubber caps might even be a machine shop, since many small end mills come in clear plastic tubes with these colored rubber caps at one or both ends of the clear plastic tube.
I burgled one of my buddy's 510 caps or "condoms" as some people call them, and it fits quite securely... almost to secure, but I don't mind. It stays on my "travel cart" in my PCC. Helps quite a bit to keep those pesky carts from leaking and drying out through the day.
i use pencil erasers. just cut the long triangular top off and I kind of shaved the square edges with a razor blade. may not be the best solution but it's been working for me
Thats pretty brilliant. Will the eraser material absorb the liquid?
I haven't noticed it. I still try and keep the carts upright in the pcc case. I don't let them roll around in a drawer or anything for the juice to get all over the eraser
Nothing like burgling from a friend. You can always remind them about the last thing they burgled from you if they wanna start .....in' about it
