Congrats to you.

You definitely must drink more water every day and all pains will go away. Lowering nicotine like you did is a good idea for getting rid of those little headaches. Also, hit your ecig 3 or 4 times and then put it down for five minutes rather than keeping it in your hand. This will help stop the chain vaping part.

Welcome to ECF!!

Welcome to the Vape World, welcome welcome. You really need to try and drink alot of fluids, PG/VG are really good at dehydrating you. But personally, I haven't had any run ins with that yet. And as far as chain vaping, I'll tell you like this, I think I vape more than I ever smoked. But at the same time, the absorption rate is different, so you really don't have to be so hard on yourself. I tend to vape until I feel content, then I'm done for awhile. Sometimes I'll pick up my PV and just take a little toot or two then put it down again.

After awhile, it's more of an experience, an enjoyable one at that.

Enjoy your stay, and happy vaping!

Welcome Ragg. Like others have suggested, drink more water and the lowering of nic is a good idea. I wouldn't worry too much about how many ml you vape as long as you don't have the cravings anymore for the analogs. You'll find that you will be putting down the pv more because of all the trips to the bathroom from drinking all the water.

Congrats and welcome!

Yeah, there are some adjustments that need to be made when you switch to vaping. PG is a humectant, which means it absorbs water. This is why you need to drink more water in order to keep yourself properly hydrated. For me it wasn't really an adjustment as I already drink plenty of fluids throughout my day, but some who don't may find they feel more dehydrated, wake up with bad dry mouth, etc. (I still wake up with dry mouth sometimes.) The headache is also probably caused by a bit of dehydration, too. I don't think it would be excess nicotine as I find that those overdose headaches usually hit at a low level and stay there for 10+ minutes when I stop vaping and then slowly fade as the nicotine wears off. I have hit that overdose wall many times and as a result I've dropped to 12mg currently, and plan to drop to 6mg as well as soon as my throat hit boosters arrive. (Presuming they work well, that is.)

What I do is I usually take some bottled water with me to work so that I sip it throughout the day. At home I usually have one at my desk. You could also keep a little electric cooler in the car that can help with keeping hydrated. If you maintain proper hydration you'll rarely feel any of the ill effects caused by the PG leeching out the fluids from your body.

Hi Ragg. If you're having pain in your kidneys you should seek medical help right now. Your body is telling you something is wrong. A forum about vaping won't solve your issue. I wouldn't assume that is it is or isn't related to you switching from cigarettes to vaping. Hope you see a physician and heal quickly. Be well.

thank you all for the nice welcome!! :)
any way i vape as much as the 18 mg so far.
i went to the doctor today about the pain...
she said it's not necessarily the vaping and that i should stop vaping for one or two days and see if it will go away.
if it is and i still want to use the e cig i will have to drink lot's of water and fluids-if i do and the pain will stay we will have to run some tests.
i askd her about e cigs in general if they are dangerous she said that it's absolutely way better then then real cig but i should use them to quit and not 10 years from now and they might be dangerous then.
