Were going on a 7 hour drive tommorrow to see our son in Kamloops and thinkin bout how and where a holder for the ecigs in the car. I built a deck in the back a couple years ago and used composite decking and had kept most of the scraps. vaping on a long drive is going to be a first for both my wife and I. We don't smoke in our vehicle (2012 Terrain) so we have to stop every so often and power drag a smoke and get back on the road, this adds quite a bit of time to the trip. I don't like to just have then just laying on the center console cause I have to take my eyes off the road to find the PV.
I devised a nifty circular coaster out of the composite, inwhich is 1" thick and heavier than regular wood you have around. It sits inside one of the cupholders and holds 2 ecigs quite nicely. Also made a few blocks to hold the ecig on the coffee table and at the comp.
Spent a bit of time outside this sunny morning with a belt sander and a sanding block.

Suggestion: Depending on where you live (especially if hot) it's probably not advisable to leave your ecig in the car for any real length of time. I haven't seen anything like that, but electronics + heat in general degrades their performance. Could also impact the juice, and heat is generally rough on batteries. I know, I live in the desert.

So unless you're planning on leaving a DC powered cooler plugged in that will work when your car is off...I'd advise just keeping your gear and juice on you unless it's just a short-ish hop out of the car.
