So I found the MOST AMAZING wintergreen flavor EVER. Packs a hell of a TH, the flavor is just spot-on, and is SO refreshing in this summer madness.

Unfortunately, the liquid is solidifying, and clogging my atomizers and cartos.

When it happened to my carto, I thought it was weird. I had to clean out the ring at the bottom (not the center hole, but the space around THAT) of my Boge. Took a long time.

And I was also dripping this stuff on my LR atty ... which now is clogged beyond all belief. Went to vape it tonight and noticed the 2 vents at the base of the atty were clogged with the same "mysterious white stuff" that is pretty much a solid. I can't really compare it to anything .. maybe a gelatin? A little more solid, perhaps.

Hot water and blowing for 20 minutes did nothing. A little poking around with a tiny safety pin reveals that the stuff CAN be dislodged. I just don't know how far the "infection" has spread...

Now I'm soaking the atty in cheap vodka, and swirling it around, drawing liquid through the atty .. and there's all kinds of white junk sinking to the bottom of my shot glass. Even after all the rinsing and blowing, my shot of cheap vodka smells only of wintergreen.

I am absolutely horrified.

What is this doing to my lungs?!? What is it doing IN MY juice?!

Has anyone experienced this before? It's a higher-VG (don't know the exact %), but... it's turning into a SOLID?

That makes a lot of sense...

I guess my best bet here would be to "dissolve" it? Is that even possible?

Maybe Google knows :\

EDIT: Indeed, Google does know -- and the MOST helpful post ...

linked back to ECF

To answer my own question -- They'll dissolve in alcohol (though not sure if the vodka I'm using is quite strong enough).. or in hot water/oil. If the alcohol soak fails (probably going to let it soak a good 24 hours).. I'm going to use water coming down from a boil.

Oh the joys of vaping. :)

She stated it was wintergreen flavor but no menthol so I don't think menthol crystals is the problem. It's a possibility that your juiced was sweetened and that was the result of the sweetner used. I used to DIY and use sweetner. I loved it but it sucked when it came to atty clogging. Left a white crystal like crap just as you described. Get yourself an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner (one that you have to plug in). They work wonders at getting rid of all gunk buildup.

hmmm hairball...

Also likely..

The liquid I notice looks a bit like if you mixed water and clean oil ... but it's a very mild separation. The best shaking and mixing of the liquid just makes it cloudy (I don't think it's truly mixing).. Could that be the sweetener? Or something completely unrelated? Sorry just trying to rationalize what my juice is doing... :\
