My EGo-CE4 wont work!

Hey my name is Adrian and my EGo-CE4 wont work
What happens is when everything is screwed in place and I press the button it blinks 15 times
and when I screw the tank off it works. I tested around to find out that whenever I put something metal like on the boilpad it starts blinking.
I'm new to e-sigs and I got a bad introduction.
Anyone have anything that can help?

Sounds like a coil short. You have another coil you can test on it?

Usually if a ego is blinking that many times it would need to be charged, but since you said it doesn't blink like that with no clearomizer on it then it must be a atomizer short.

Since I'm new to this I only have this cheap one 1 battery and 1 coil, I've tried charging it but still doesn't work.

Are you able to get more coils? You will end up needing them eventually. Does the battery charge?

The battery does charge, and I will try to get a new coil and see if that works, thank you!
