Woke up last night & sauntered into the computer room to look at something to blow the Best Buy gift cards I got for Christmas.

Looked around in the darkness. . . I kept seeing something flashing in vaguely familiar sort of way. Hmm wonder what that is. No, not the cell phone. No, not the router. Not the computer or printer. Oh, there it is.

Found one of my eGo batteries, now relegated to backup status on the floor, blinking at me in a vaguely guilt producing manner.

Damn thing is DRT & flashing SOS (3 long, 3 short, 3 long) at me. Only thing I can think is I knocked it down on the floor when I was trying to get a paper jam out of the printer. Must have shorted something and/or fired or something. Also realized I had stuck a 1.5 ohm dual coil carto on there like a re-re. Glad it didn't catch fire or something dramatic. Anyone think like I do the board is fried? Guess if it is I'll take it apart when it quits blinking and harvest the ego connector for the pipe mod I wanna make or something. I guess I could order a board from fasttech.

Take away lessons: eGos do not like dual coils cartos. Do not leave attys on batteries. Click the damn things OFF when you are not going to use them. I need to make some kind of vape stand. I need to separate out my cartos better.

three long, three short, three long, long pause, repeat.

Fiddled witht he center post. Does not seem to be the issue.

It's currently doing it in the laundry room, where I am hoping that if it becomes possessed and tried to burn my house down the damage will be minimized/mitigated. It's been doing it for about 18 hours with nothing attached.

No big deal, using MVP as daily vape machine. ego is a backup. Have a couple more around. Just thought I'd share. I've read dual coils eat egos. I had stuck one on there after filling a couple cartos. I think it landed on the button (I found it after I kicked it.) and fired until the cut off kicked in. By then I bet it was too late. Too many amps through a tiny circuit board. Who knows, maybe the kicking did it all.
