My EVOD BCC leaks liquid.

My EVOD has started leaking like a sieve, liquid gets onto the battery post,
and sometimes thru the coil head tube into the mouth piece.
Besides the fact that this wastes liquid, the performance is greatly reduced until
I dry out this excess liquid.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Check your Coil head top seal. It may not be seating against the upper pipe.
You can flip it over if it has gotten concave.

How long have you been using this head? They are replaceable.

I've been using an EVOD tank for over two months and it's never leaked a drop, even after 3 coil changes. Have you tried a new coil? Maybe the coil you have in it isn't seating well against the inner tube or it's simply defective?

What % of pg/vg is the juice you're using? I'd first check to make sure that the clear grommet is seated on the head correctly and then to check out the wicks. If the juice is thin and it doesn't have enough wick they will leak.

Is it leaking when full or only when it gets low?

Also if there's not enough airflow it will basically turn it into a straw. Of course that depends on what device you're using and such. I use basic ego batteries at the moment so I have no problems with air flow.

Also, check for cracks around the clear part of the mouthpiece where it meets the colored sleeve. EVODs can easily crack there, breaking the vacuum and allowing a leak. If there is a crack there, it's a matter of time before the mouthpiece cracks completely off, and then you'll have juice everywhere.

From the posts received there appears to be a number of possible causes.
My EVOD is 3 months old, the seal looks fine and while as of this moment it is not leaking,
I see there is liquid on the battery post. The coil is re-built, four wraps, 2 weeks in use.
I have a piece of wick material on top of the coil to absorb any excess liquid (not helping here)
I've just unscrewed the top, tapped the pipe at the head on newspaper and liquid
drips out.
