Hi there!
I'm new to this forum and just thought I'd share my vaping experience!!
I bought my first e-cig a year ago. Got suckered into an expensive smoking everywhere gold from the mall!!! It looked like the perfect solution to quit tobacco and it was the first time that i had ever heard about it. So of course I left with the most expensive kit they had!!
It's definitely different from smoking analogs and takes some getting used to. I loved the menthol flavor that they provided me with but was disappointed that it didn't feel like smoking. It had lots of vapor but didn't have much of a throat hit at all. It took a while to get the drag down just right too!! I tried different flavors and did enjoy having many to choose from.
So I was faithful for about a month but went back to analogs. vaping definitely didn't do the trick when I went out and had a few drinks!!!
In June of this year I contracted whooping cough and of course smoking analogs made the coughing much worse!!! So bad that I separated some ribs which is extremely painful and takes forever to heal. To this day I'm only 90% better!!
It was time to quit analogs for good so I googled e-cigs and found the blu cig!!!!
It looked perfect!! Smaller size and a PCC!!!
It took 7-10 days to come in, I see so many people have complained about their shipping speed. My second and third orders only took 3 days to come in so I don't have any complaints about shipping speed. Also for the few questions I have asked I always got a response within 24hrs.
I loved most of their flavors and found the best throat hits with classic tobacco, menthol and cherry crush!! Some carts did last longer than others usually equivalent to 5-10 cigarettes.
The batteries don't have the greatest life, usually thru one cart but the PCC makes charging extremely easy and it's like carrying around a regular pack of cigarettes.
The first atomizer I used lasted 2 1/2 months before cleaning it and it worked like new again. I soaked it in coke free for a couple of hrs then rinsed well and dried for a couple days before trying it out again. Best to drip a drop or two of smoke juice on it for best performance before I did that and just attached a cart it had a slightly burnt taste.
Now for the smoke juice!! Johnson Creek made the flavors for the blu cig so I decided to check them out and fell in love!!! They have so many flavors to choose from and have both VG and PG choices. At this point I don't have a preference for either but my favorite flavors are the tennessee cured and marcado. You're sure to find one you love with their sample packs.
I still go back to my smoking everywhere e-cig for dripping it does seem more flavorful but can be a hassle so I only do this in the evening while at home and my blu cig comes everywhere else with me!!
It was nice to find this forum!! Everyone here seems to agree that vaping is truly a personal preference and it's nice to see what every ones opinion is. Although I do disagree with most of the bad opinions that the blu cig gets cause I've had no problems and absolutely love it!!!
Read read read!!! There is a lot of good advice on this forum to help you make an educated decision on what products to buy and share your experience to help others!!
Thanks ECF!!!

Welcome to the fourm!! Seems like a lot of us only found this fourm after the first purchase did not work out. If you ever want a longer lasting battery between charges you can check out a riva / ego / torando with anywhere between 650 mAh and 1300 mAh avail. There is the mod route with many options and it seems like more variable voltage mods are coming out each month. I started with a greensmoke but the battery life was short and the cost high so searched and found this fourm and got an ego which is working for me for now but the variable voltage mods that are becoming avail has me keeping an eye out for a good deal or "special" unit that makes me "Have" to have it.

Glad that what you have now is working and enjoy your journey into the world of vaping!

I also did not find this forum until I had been vaping for several months but could not give up analogs all together, when I got good information and good e-cigs I finally was able to get off them. It has been 3 weeks and I don't even think of them. I am using the joye eGo and dripping, I absolutely love it. I have bought some great juices from FreedomSmokeUSA and I am looking into the DIY. There is lots of great info here and many good people experiencing the same things we are. My husband says ECF is my new addiction but that's great I love it here. :)

Welcome to ECF and don't feel bad about your first purchase. Got my first off craigslist and while not bad, I was happy when my 510 kit came in. Then I tried the atomic cynacide from tasty vapors and WOW.. haven't hardly touched the tobacco flavor at all. My next step will be to an ego..but ordering more AC tonite 'cuase it's still on sale. Enjoy your journey thru the vaping world ! :)
