So as the title says, my new Provari mini (satin silver, blue LED) is out for delivery. I chose the mini because a 650 mah battery lasts me about 1.5 days - so I figured the 18350 (700mah) would be plenty. Can always get extension cap right? I've only been using 808D models until this, (large 650, and 900 mah ones...won't name the vendor here) so, I'm excited to start fresh with everything as far as gear is concerned.
I still haven't made up my mind about how I'm going to use it though. I ordered an atty with it from provape. I also have an HH357 long barrel on the way. I understand there is a learning curve for this so I also have a regular old 5 pack of cartos coming as well. I have never dripped before, so it should be interesting. I have watched people drip though, and taken a couple puffs on it. So I at least know what it should feel/sound like maybe....?
I've used the Vivi nova with an adapter on my big 808s, but I'm pretty sure it destroyed the battery posts by pushing them in too far. I never screwed it down all the way, but I guess being in my pocket or whatever they would eventually screw in a bit too far. I do NOT want to take that chance with my provari - but I might bc I really loved the way they worked. I really wanted a Kir Fanis tank, but avidvapor just replied to my inquiry last night that they will not be carrying his stuff anymore. I like the idea of the fill hole on the top. I'm looking at other carto tanks now - but a lot of shops are closed for the holidays still. Anyone having good luck with a Sub tank on their provari? I'm not crazy about the screw holes being on the side but...kir fanis were the the only ones I've seen with the hole on top. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Anyone have any words of advice for a drip newb? And does anyone know if the joyetech atty from provape comes with primer on it? I guess I will be able to see if the atty is wet right?
