My first 6v vape with the v3.1! How can I avoid frying attys?

I'm expecting my v3 tomorrow (hopefully)! And I would appreciate some advice from u vets that will helpe avoid frying attys. I do have one hr boge coming. I'm thinking that should b more forgiving.

Pulse the button instead of doing one long hit. For example, instead of holding it in for 5 seconds, do a 1-2-2-second pulse. Also, be sure to keep it wet. I usually start with 3 drops, take a quick hit or two, and then add 2 more drops to prime it. Then I add 3 drops as needed. After an hour or two, I blow it out and start over.

Btw...all of my packages should be here today:
1 - From PS w/ my v3 complete 6v kit, 5 cartos, a hr Atty, & a dip tip
2 - From bluemist w/ 150ml of diff juices
3 - From juicyvapor with my custom flavor, other juices, a drip tip, and a LR atty...


...except my other package from PS with my 3.7v batts with charger. That one will hafta wait till tomorrow.

Im like a kid on Christmas waiting?to unwrap my gifts. It'll be a great day, unless my wife checks my debit cars statement...

Yes. That's what I meant. Just blow the excess juice from the atty into a napkin and start the process over. That doesn't apply to cartos. With those, just fill and go. I've yet to pop one of those. But you can scorch the filler. So keep em wet.

I would definitely agree with Greg. Pulse the button. I do that on any high voltage mod. I have been using the same BE112 for over two months now and constantly run it at 6v.

Pulse the button and keep it wet...sounds simple enuff. I've just read SO many things about ppl blowing out multiple attys until they figure out the learning curve associates with hv devices.
So I should probably stick to my HR Atty at first right?
And I Should only use LR attys @ 3.7v?

Oh.... Very important: don't use batteries fresh off the charger, especially if you're using std atties. Let them sit for at least an hour so the voltage will drop back down to ~3.2v. The LiFePOs charge up to around 3.6 or so but quickly drop back down to their nominal levels.

And to your other questions: HR to start is probably your safest bet. And LR is definitely for 3.7 only.

Oh wow, patience isn't my strong suite. I'm going to struggle to wait for the initial charge, but another hour? Can I at least use my HR Atty with batts fresh off tha charger?

Yeah. That should be fine. Just be sure to pulse the button even on the HR until you know how it will act. Letting the batteries sit is critical only on SR atties, I think.

That's 6v for you Make sure you let her cool down. Continuously running when hot is NOT a good thing.

Add LOTS more eLiquid. Did you fill her completely up until you started to see her pool on top?

Add more juice. That taste is burning filler. Use the condom fill and taryn spin to fill it. It should hold about a ML of liquid.

Btw...blue mists Belgian waffle, 16mg @ 6v is ... AMAZING!!!

So I just filled this Carto till I got a slight gutlrgle and I still is one of tha worst tastes ever? Could this carto be faulty?
