RDA My first coil build on an IGO-W

I bought the Coil-Master and made two coils today. They came out almost perfect. Previously, I tried making coils on a jig and the first 3 turned out crap. The 4th one came out good, but at 7 ohms. The fifth came out okay, but looked horrible.

Anyway, I wanted to show the build and ask a couple questions. Is it too much cotton? I'm wondering because I'm not getting much vapor at all. Oh... the build is at 1.1 ohms sitting on a Sigelei 100W.

The Coil-Master works and these two coils were my first try on it.

Well, I chucked those coils and made two new ones. Between the two, I'm at .8 Ohms. I put less cotton in this time and it looks better. So, I put it on my Sigelei 100W box mod and have it set at 28 watts (4.9 V) and I'm not getting very much vapor.

Now what?

I usually use my Kanger Subtank or Aspire Nautilus, but decided to try dripping. So far, I'm not having any luck with it.

What's the PG/VG ratio of the juice you are using? 50/50 won't blow huge clouds but over 70% VG will blow nice clouds. Try using 1 wrap less per coil to get closer to .5 ohms. .8 is good for casual vaping.

It's a 50/50 blend. I have some 20/80 and 30/70 that I can try on it.

I only did 5 wraps (if I remember right) on each coil.

Why is it that the same juice pumps better vapor in my Kanger Sub? Wait.... the pre-built coils are better than mine.

Went with one of my max VG juices. Still not getting a lot of vapor.

you could try different builds. in mine im using one wire on each side with two vreticle coils in each wire and it is chucking the vape

Rebuild your coils and get them as close to the air holes on the W you as you can, this is very important. Also, make sure that the coils are perfectly lined up vertically with the air holes, if they are not you will get all heat and very little vapor.

if its the regular w and not the w plus the air holes are pretty small too. might want to consider drilling them out a bit or getting an aftermarket top cap

This might be the problem. I have them close to the posts.
