My first DIY experience.... Great! But... very confused...

I got my supplies from Liberty-flights.com which included:

30ml of 24nic unflavored liquid,
Watermelon, rasberry, black cherry and sweetener flavor (perfumers apprentice)

and then I picked up a bottle of VG from CVS and made sure it was USP food grade.

after playing around with it I INSTANTLY got the perfect watermelon e-liquid! Thanks ECF for that!

But now as I vape my wonderful liquid I can't help to think... Why was over the 30 bottles of e-liquid I bought before colored?

All the supplies to make amazing liquid in front of me are clear.

Can someone explain this to me? Why is the liquid you buy off websites colored?

Some of the flavorings, especially Loranns come pre-colored. They are made to flavor and color candy originally.
