Hello Forum, this will be my first ever review. This portion of the review is my first impressions. Ok, so here goes nothing...
Today I received my base kit Screwdriver MkII from totallywicked. I have been using my proprietary battery pigcig for about a month, but i only have one and i was tired of being at the mercy of one batt, and if that goes, well then im back to analogs for a few days, so i decided to buy a new pv. My requirements were that it needed to have a 901 connection to fit my existing hardware, needed to have at least 800 mAh, I would prefer a removable battery so that i could have backups if the battery does die on me without having to carry around another pv, it needed to look stylish, and needed to be around 3.7v to accomodate my lr atties. I found the screwdriver to fulfill all of these requirements. I took the screwdriver out of its packaging and viola! Let me say this, in my honest opinion, this is one classy looking mod. the mirrored finish just kindamakes it pop. its nice and curvy, and just looks like some kinda modern art sculpture or a nice vase or something. Yeah, thats right, my pv looks like a vase! (im such a dweeb
) anyways, yeah, i really like the looks of it. and with this nice curvy vase-ish figure, it fits in the hand really really nicely. It just feels good in my hand. With the battery in it, it feels nice and weighty. I like it with a little heft because it just feels more solid. The battery that came with it already had a partial charge so i popped it in and started to vape. I immediately unscrewed the atty and set it aside, in all honesty, it seems pretty crap. Just real tight on the draw. I may take a tiny drillbit to it tomorrow to open up the airflow a little tomorrow. I put on one of my lr 901's and this thing vapes like a champ. Very solid vapor production and a good throat hit. The button is well placed and easy to press. I would have liked a clicky button, but thats just kinda nit-picky. I dunno, there's just something sort of satisfying about a nice clicky button. I like that it doesnt have an LED because i think it would have cheapened the looks of this mod. Ok, i guess thats pretty much all i can say for now. I hope you guys enjoyed this first impression, and after using it for a week or two i'll report back with a final verdict including the most talked about aspecto of this mod in reviews that i've read; the build quality. thanks for reading and stay tuned
