My first Kanger protank 2 mini.

I received my first Protank 2 mini yesterday from MBV (along with some juice of course) and I love it. I am a newbie and have only used the CE4 that came with my Ego-t starter kit and I have one Kanger T3s. I have to say the Protank 2 I am really enjoying! I am using it with Thug juice but it seems to have a nice smooth flavor and draw than the CE4. Might have to order a few more!!

Just wait until you start rebuilding them (If you will get into that)
Started doing that yesterday and the diffrence is big!

Mini pt2 is my favorite tank aswell, even more now when i've learned how to rebuild them.

I have Thug Juice in one and Black Licorice in another. One of my favorite tanks.

Agree about rebuilding the coils... an even better vape.

You know how good a rebuilt PT2 is? I got my first Kayfun yesterday, and the thing just rocks; everything I read about it, it is. Great flavor, awesome throat hit, awesome vapor production. My PT2's aren't going to be sitting collecting dust anytime soon despite how good that new toy is. Just sayin'.

Great little tanks!! If you want the best out of them, next time you order, get some Aerotank bases for them, costs about $5 apiece. Much improved draw and you won't have to worry about leaking into your batt. Here's a pic of mine, click to enlarge.

I went through the same feeling with the Protank. I was using iClear16 and IClear30 and was sick of the dry hits and muted flavour. Tried a Protank and was amazed by it, I tasted flavours from my ejuice that I wasn't aware were in there before. Eventually I got into rebuilding my PT coils with cotton and microcoils and again went through an enhanced experience. Now I use Kayfuns and have experienced even better flavour production from the same ejuices...I'm looking into RDAs to see if it can get any better.

I just started vaping with a Mini PT2 and agree with what's been said about rebuilding the coils. The flavor difference between the stock coil with silica wicks and a micro coil with a cotton wick is amazing! There are some good videos on how to do it on YouTube and it's not difficult at all. I had to buy a stock coil in the middle of the work day last week because my rebuilt coil died on me, let's just say my afternoon was flavorless...

Heh. I used to vape stock PT coils because I am kinda thrifty. Then the time between excuses to just rip it out and rebuild it became shorter and shorter. Now, I don't even bother. I just rebuild the darn things and write the cost off to spare parts...

This post is somewhat between amusing and amazing for me. I just replaced my cig a likes over the weekend and, based off the recommendation from the local vape shop, went with a mini pt 2 as my first real tank. Honestly I was almost wondering if I got ripped off due to my lack of experience when I couldn't get the base unscrewed this morning to refill, but everyone here has given me renewed faith that I'm going in the right direction at least. Now just to get the bloody base off... Thanks for the information folk, you've just saved me from getting frustrated enough to go back to my cig a likes.

Seems I am going in the right direction also. For right now I will just buy coils until I feel comfortable enough to rebuild. The tank was hard to unscrew but I figured it out finally!

I just replaced the wicks in a bunch of mine with cotton (not up to learn coil building yet...) & the difference is amazing. Save the coils for when you are ready to start rebuilding.

Once they become available, if they aren't already, the Mini Protank 3 bases are a little bit longer and easier to get a hold on to unscrew. I've got mine on my Mini Protank 2 right now and really like the slightly larger airholes as well.

Mini Protank 3's have been out for a couple of weeks. I bought 3, one went to the GF, one I am using right now with some tasty butterscotch. I have a Mini Protank 2 as well and it is good....but the mini 3's are better.
