Yeah, I've been happy to get Grape Instant Drink Mix or on a more complicated Grape Soda so far, but have failed with getting a real grape taste. I think strawberry is the way to go as it seems to be a more forgiving flavoring.

I do have an idea for the grape jelly - it involves adding maybe 1% caramel to thicken the flavor up a little - but I haven't tried it and could be all wet. Since the ingredients are cheap I'm not skeered :D

Well when you get to doing various concoctions I'd download the ejuicemeup calculator. Maybe she would holler more if she knew you always refer to her as your "Spousal Unit". LOL Reminds me of some Star Trek episode, can't remember which one, something about Veega....??

OT: Spousal Unit reminds me of SNL Coneheads. Made me smile.

Okay, PB&J progress report - had mixed results.

Mixed in 5ml VG, all Loriann flavors - the final mix was

Cinnamon roll: 15 drops
Peanut butter: 13 drops
Grape: 12 drops
Creamy caramel: 4 drops (creamy caramel is a natural flavor and half strength of their concentrated flavors)
Distilled water as required

Anyway, I dripped it on an deshielded, dewicked 2.5 ohm atty at 3.8v and it vaped great - peanut butter on the inhale and grape on the exhale and I was actually fairly impressed because it made me hungry :)

Peanut butter taste wasn't real accurate but you could definitely tell it was peanut butter and the caramel did seem to smooth out the taste a little.

But - when I put it in a 2.5 ohm carto it lost just about everything and with the amount of flavor I had to use to get it to where it was I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort except as a test. Pitched the batch but it was an interesting experiment :)

Oh my, now I'm craving a PB&J. Nah, really want a Fluffernutter. You know a good place to find recipes is on Gormet Vapor. For most liquids they list the ingrediants and give you flavor ratio percentages. It's a good starting point, just tweak the recipe from there. At least you'll have an idea of what flavors are in the stuff they are selling to the public.

Whiz, anymore insight into your possible PG reaction? Do you think your lung problem was from the PG? I meant to answer your blog the other day about this, but here is the thing I've heard from my doc. After you quit smoking your lungs go through a lot of changes. You may feel great the first few weeks and then you feel worse than before you quit. This is because the lungs start a "cleaning cycle". They assist in the process of cleaning out all the tar etc., by producing more mucus in an effort to get you to cough out the poisons that won't dissolve by themselves. It can get pretty scary. Last time I quit using that horrible Chantix drug that almost killed me, my lungs did the cleaning thing and I thought I had CA. PG is used in lots of medical inhaler products including the asthma inhalers in some brands, so you if you really have a PG problem you should read the ingredients on your inhaler if you use one....

Oh, I've got a couple of inhalers and a nebulizer ;)

I'm not sure it's a PG problem yet - all I do know is that I quit vaping PG yesterday morning and this morning I figure I had about a third more lung capacity than I have had. It could be coincidence.

I'm not rushing to blame PG, but my inhalers don't put anywhere near 3ml of PG in my lungs a day. All I do know is I feel quite a bit better the day after I went to VG-based juices. If I do have a sensitivity to PG it's probably pretty mild.
