My first micro coil

My grants vanilla custard and shipment of wire came in today so I took my first crack at a micro coil on my hcigar taifun gt. 11 wraps of 28g kanthal A-1 came out to 1.6 ohms. Wicked it with a nice thick piece of organic cotton through the middle and laid a thin twist of organic cotton over the coil as a flavor wick. So far its the best flavor ive ever gotten from any device and the vape level is through the roof. Just wanted to share

Looks mint, i managed to get a nice one myself just the other day got my first coil. Then i left it at work today. Thank goodness i didnt forget my carto tank setup id be using an ego with an evod all night!

Looks good I also just made my first micro coils this past Friday for my KFL+ and IGO-L dripper.

This is going to be a silly question and Im not sure how to word it per se but when you install your coil do you install it with the terminating posts on bottom or top and does it matter? I installed mine with them on the bottom so it gave me a nice birth between the coil and the air hole

Awesome job since I've tried the micro coil with cotton i haven't gone back.... its kinda hard to it just gives you better flavor and vapor

I go bottom on my kayfuns. I usually need to pull up on my coil for air hole clearance. Other then that I don't think it matters

Day two observations. The flavor is almost startling. I vaped two tanks of Grants Vanilla custard yesterday. When I got home from work the GF could taste the custard on my breath when she kissed me. Today, I broke the tank down and cleaned it/put a couple more pieces of cotton in there. I loaded up some Mr Es gray matter this time. Gray matter is one of my go to vapes. Ive had it in ce4s, evods, protanks 1,2, carto tanks, ive dripped it etc and it taste different on each device ive tried it on. Ive got no idea what its suppose to actually taste like all I know is its delicious. Now I sit here at work filling the rafters with clouds of gray matter and once again it taste different. This time its just BLAMMM sweet and creamy. I wish mr e would tell us whats in this stuff so I can stop guessing
