My first Provari v2 will be here in the next day or two. What tank is going to make my new favorite toy "pop" at an affordable price?

Hello my friends!

I finally gave in and joined the "Provari Creed". I'm very very excited for it to be here, and while I expect my Vivi Novas will perform better than ever on this device.... I want something special to top off my Provari. Now, since I just spent $235 on the device/batteries/charger/extension cap, I'd like to avoid anything overly pricy. I currently have three Vivi Novas (all with LR heads atm) and one DCT (but only one Carto left ><). As I said before, all these are great and I enjoy them, but I feel like such a special device really deserves a special tank.

Heck, even if it is pricy post it up! Maybe I'll just wait until the next payday to get the topper for my new toy!

Thanks a ton to you wonderful (and convincing!) people! :vapor:

I am currently saving my coins for the same thing (provari) i am jealous. I have looked at many tanks and the newest and coolest looking in my book is the trap tank but only if you like using cardos. Good luck with your toy.

The users on this site can be quite.... Convincing. In the "New Members Forum" I had posted about getting something "in the middle ground" of eGo-C Twists and Provaris. Finally, with enough posts, I popped on the Provari. Not really out of my price range, just something I thought would come later than two months into my vaping career.

I agree with the Phiniacs. I have less time in this than you, but consider these things to be investments rather than disposables. I always tell beginners to go with the eGo Twist and the Vivi because they are easy to use and inexpensive. Those are disposables. But if you are wanting something aesthetically pleasing that works really, really well then the carto with the tank is a good bet. With this set up, your only disposables are batteries for the PV, cartos and juice. You can customize your Phiniac also.

Based on this statement the ONLY tank I would feel comfortable recommending is either the Penelope, or the Oddyseus. They are both similar devices, but the Penelope is a bit smaller. These are THE top of the line, and will last forever.

All regular tanks, whether it be a $12 DCT, or a Phiniac, or whatever, are carbon copy clones of each other. They all do the same thing. The only difference between any of them is materials and aesthetics. They also all have the same fatal flaw, depending on a regular cartomizer, which will need to be replaced weekly.

The Pro V from Vaporfexion is a nice looking tank and fits the Provari styling. I just wish there was an option of pyrex tubing in place of the polycarbonate tube.

I got a Bella Elegance tank from Hoosier Vapes. These are solid acrylic tanks like the JonBoy or Lavatanks. The top endcap and mouthpiece are one and twist off for easy filling. These are the same diameter as the Provari.

After buying the Bella Ellegance, I did some research and found out that a Phiniac clear pyrex tube would match up perfectly with the Bella tank. I ordered an XL tube and had them custom color-sandblast one of their designs. The green juice is Ecto Plasma from Juicy Vapor. This is my most expensive and cherished tank.

I have been using one of these:

Handmade Pyrex Glass 6.5ml DCT without drip tip

They have worked flawlessly. They are not as pretty as some of the tanks mentioned here, but I think they have some advantages. There are no o rings to fiddle around with. They just have derlin end caps. Filling them could not be easier. They are slightly wider in diameter than the Provari, so again, not as pretty. On the other hand, I get two days out of mine, hassle free.

These Cirrus tanks are not available online yet. I've had my eye on these since I accidentally came across them on Facebook. Made in California. Available with a polycarbonate or pyrex tube option. Waiting for the website to become active.

A local shop in Cerritos, CA sells them. They're called Vape Revolution, and they do phone orders. Look them up on yelp or Facebook.

On another thread, someone local said Vape Revolution was no longer selling them (actually, that they were saying the Cirrus tanks were out of stock), and was trying to make a deal with another tank supplier. So, I can't say for sure.

I actually have the silver one on the left, but not the drip tip as I'm not a fan of the shape. Next time I drop by I'll see if they have any.

It is not the prettiest thing in the world, but it is probably the most "user-friendly" tank that I have ever tried. It is the Texas Tuff Tank from Vape Dudes. It has a fill hole, made of polypropylene, and uses grommets to stay in place. I have not had one leak yet. I also have a Cartomator Pro-V SS, which looks amazing, but takes longer to set up and fill.
