Grabbed a mutation from my local shop today.

I set it up with a 0.8 ohm dual coil, 3mm, twisted, 30awg kanthal, 8/7 wraps. This is impressive at 50-60 watts on my sigelei 100+. Wicked thru the coils with shiseido cotton. Big clouds. Not sure if i was supposed to angle the coils up towards the middle or up towards the wall of the atty (currently up towards middle). Regardless, it performs well. I may not be winning any competitions, but, its a big enough cloud that I shouldn't be using it anywhere in public. The vape is warm and very flavorful. Much more flavor than my aspire. I'll have to compare it to my friends atlantis soon. Definitely gonna need 3mg instead of this 6mg.

Are the darker spots hot spots or anything to worry about? Coiling twisted wire wasn't so simple. Very springy compared to non twisted.

Note: When I dry fired before wicking the coils were firing somewhat unevenly. After about 10 dry burns they were lighting in sync with the same degree of brightness.

ETA: Now I know what a dry hit is. F dry hits.
