Ooooooh, how can a battery take so long to charge?

As I await power, I study my new device. It's much prettier than I expected. Sparkly dark red is nice.

It's tiny, too. What is the mini like, if this is the full-sized version?

I must keep my expectations reasonable. Too much hope can only disappoint.

Welcome to Reoville Melissa. That sure is some pretty little vaping device you have there. Get that battery charged and get it going. Let us know how you are doing with it. You are a member of the tribe now so here's your official Reonaut badge. Wear it when you go to jif's lounge and he'll give you free drinks all day and all night.

Did you end up getting a RM2 as well?

They were sold out when I placed my order. I will get one, though. I promised WickedDeuce I would.

Why are these batteries taking so long?!?!?!?! Why couldn't they have come the day before?

Do you think they'll charge faster if I sit over there and stare at them?

Congrats on sweet looking Reo and Welcome to Reoville. Are you going to use a carto or regular Atty until you get the RM2?

Have read up on the blind squonk? If not we can share some tips to make it easier.

I got some disposable cartos.

What's a blind squonk? I know that to "squonk" is to squeeze the bottle and thereby get juice onto the coil, but what does it mean to do it blind?

Hell yeah. Looks great :)

Here's a fat lady singing while your battery charges ( if you do only one at a time it should go quicker).

Step right up and test drive an RM2. She's giving blind squonking lessons right now :)

Congrats :)

i think i'd have to be blind to squonk her...
:)

Blind squonk refers to a process of how to squonk the right amount when you cannot see the juice level and are unsure of how much to press for RBAs. For Carto or attys it helps draw the liquid into the device since they can leak from the air holes in the side of the 510 connector.

Without pressing the fire button you squeeze the bottle and draw through the Carto. You want to stop pressing right before it gurgles, typically you can feel a slight pressure change as you draw right before the gurgle starts. When you perfect the blind squonk, you get good hits that do not flood the carto with very little to no juice in the well.

IF you do, and you will at first, flood the carto, pull it off, blow it out, and try again.

Well, this is disappointing. Either it gives a dry, smokelike hit or it's spitting hot juice at me.

I'll fill it with some crummy old juice to see if I can get it to work right.

squonking takes a bit of practice. i used a carto for 3 hours,at first, then switched to disposable attys. it took me about a week to stop getting dry hits and 2+ weeks to stop flooding it (i'm kinda slow learner). then i switched to rm2s and all was joy.

i'm having eye surgery in a few days and have taken a break from making coils. in the meantime, i've switched back to disposable attys, and i still occasionally flood them.

what topper are you using?
