Fantastical, Greigster, but the background seems a bit off for me...seaview! Now I want to know how you find the vape between those two atomizers please?
Hi Mattee, To be honest, I cant tell them apart vape quality wise. They both beat anything I have owned before into a c0ck hat, and I have had some top-end gear.
I still have to practice this ohm malarkey as I have always used VV/VW and at about 2ohm.
I have been using micro coils and cotton or bamboo for a while but this is the first time I have dropped my ohms (the mini at 1.3ohms and the grand at 1.4ohms).
Not sure if the flavour is a tad muted so I also need to have a play with different ohms, wire and coil height.
Thx. They tell me the lower the coil to the floor, the more flavour the less throat hit. Enjoy.
Thanks Mattee, how close to the floor can you go? What is the optimum coil height?
You can probably go as close as you like. Presume not touching as that could affect air flow adversely, but being a ceramic base touching will not cause a short. There really is no optimum coil height, just an individualised coil height, which is where it gives YOU the best vape. Lower is more flavour and sweet tones, higher is less flavour and more acidic tones and throat hit. I have seen people recommend the top of the coil to be parallel to the post screws as a sort of standard position. Check out the coil threads in this forum, will give you lots of tips and much more expertise than I have.
