My Haus is leaking!

My Haus pen is leaking. First fill was fine. Second refill I rinsed out the tank and dried and wiped down the bottom cap with the coil/atomizer (don't know if I'm using the proper nomenclature). Now it gurgles like someone being waterboarded and it leaks in both ends, i.e. I'm getting juice all over the battery and in my mouth and there is very little vapor. I realize these things are cheap, but surely they're meant to last more than one fill-up? Everything is snug and tight as can be and I fail to see how I can have damaged it. Thankfully I have some better stuff on the way in the mail and a spare Haus tank and few FINs (yeah, I know...) to carry me over for a few days.

It's annoying, so you have my sympathy.

I am fairly anti these type of brands; the cheap end of the market is geared to maximum profit. Nobody is checking them for quality.
They sell a 64 cent tank for $7.99 and unless you/we can pin them down on some legal basis, they will just continue to do so.

I spent nearly $800 on e-cig items that cost almost nothing (under $30) to produce. I complained about the products (on the internet) and got threatened by the lawyers at rubbish-e-cig.co head office.

That's how the market is. It sucks.. but all the time they 'control' social media and 'rig' reviews on sites that recommend e-cigs, we are all at risk.

Be thankful you are not in to the tune of $2000+. Some people (in the UK) are spending this sort of money and still smoking most of the time because they think e-cigs are rubbish.

You'll be OK. :)

Do not be alarmed. These things happen with starter kit type products. The lowest I would suggest going as far as a tank ( thing that holds and heats the juice ) is a kanger evod. Google to see if you have a vape shop near you. You can get 19$ gas station ego kits to hold you over until you can get to one, but they dont typically last that long.

Once you get a decent set up you will find that you will rarely have any major issues.

Take everything apart, clean and dry it, reassemble it and try again. if there is something you need to feel with juice, dont fill it up all the way in case it leaks again.

We are here for you. Post pics and maybe we can help you more.

The bottom cap is leaking from the inside directly on to the battery post. Not even gonna try to fix it; it's already in the trash. At $8.00 it's not gonna break the bank, but it's still an annoyance, particularly since I actually was quite impressed with the performance of both the Haus and the FIN.

I should be getting a somewhat higher end(?) SR72 Aspire 1300 Kit with VV (twist?) by the end of the week, and I also pulled the trigger on a Vamo 5 + a Nautilus Aspire tank from Fast Tech. I've read mostly good things about them and I figure most things vaping-related available in the US is made in China anyway, so I'm optimistic. At roughly half price compared to stateside it's a reasonable gamble and it's not like I'm raiding the kids' college fund anyway.

The nearest vape shop in my area is about 25 miles away, which I wouldn't mind, but from their website they appear to be out of stock on a lot of items they carry and their selection is limited to begin with.

So I'm looking forward to joining the big boys' club shortly and will report back. :)

Looks like you did the only thing I would suggest- get something else Had the same issue with Haus. Was one of my first ecigs. Luckily all was not wasted as the battery works with other clearomizers.
That's good to know. Is that a standard fitting? What should I look for in terms of compatibility if I want to pick up a few? Oh, and do these clearomizers have replaceable coils or are they throwaways?

It is a standard ego cone thread, but it is threaded a little longer than other ego devices I owned. I know for a fact the Haus battery does work with Kanger EVOD, Kanger T2, and the knockoff glass EVODs (RGM2). All these have replaceable coils. Since the threads on the Haus battery are deeper, you shouldn't screw the clearomizers all the way down until they bottom out. This would put too much pressure on the clearomizer coil and positive pin on the battery. Just screw them down until they are making a good connection.

I can't recall if it has 510 threading, but I never tried the Haus battery on a 510 atomizer like the Aerotank or Nautilus. I had given the battery with an EVOD to a friend who wanted to start vaping a while back so can't check what else it may work with. As far as I know, the battery is still going strong.

Hope this helps any.
