So I really liked the idea of sitting at the puter and NOT charging batteries here is what I came up with.

The 3mm purple led is on when plugged in and the 5mm blue led turns on when button is pushed. Not exactly a beautiful wiring job but it worked first try :)

Thanks Felt...I might have to buy one then all I have is a 500ma plug. I bought a 3.2 atty and it works just not what I was expecting so I switched back to the 2.2ish.
Something don't sound right.

Plunk some numbers into this.

Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator

500mA (.5A) with 3.2Ω resistance = 1.6V, with a 2.2Ω load = 1.1V.

FWIW your pics aren't showing up for me.

Hey Willy. yea the 500mAh is my ac adapter that I tried to plug my pt into. It does not work. The 3.2 and 2.2 are the attys I tried on the PT plugged into usb on puter which is 5v but under load I am only getting 3.6-3.7v. After I read it again I can see it being confusing...sorry.
And yea the pics are uploaded to the forum and it shows they are there in my control panel thing but they are not showing up for me now either.

hehe...the "goo" is just hot glue to hold stuff in place...I know it's a little excessive :) I did replace the hot glue on connection with epoxy putty after it did get warm and the connector started to spin. Yes...finishing washers are going to have a new place in my mods for sure. #10 huh...nice ty...I will check them out tomorrow while I am out and about.
