I've been meaning to submit this thread for a while now but I've just been sidetracked by other issues. I wanted to go ahead and do a quick rundown of the few new flavors that I received along with another kudos for V4L and their awesome freebies.
First, Smilin Special Menthol. If you're a menthol fan and haven't tried this then you're a blasphemer. I don't even know how to describe it. A classic menthol flavor with a nice sweet undertone that makes it the perfect all-day vape. I could see this becoming a lot of people's go-to vape.
Cowboy Menthol - Another great menthol vape. It's a lot like a menthol analog without the nasty tobacco taste that we've all grown to hate. Don't get me wrong, it still has that tobacco undertone, but without the "impurities." This was a freebie in my order and it was in 4mg, and since then I've realized that it's probably time that I drop my home mg since I have enjoyed it so much.
Nuport - Not my cup of tea. I could definitely see how people could love this flavor, but it definitely is not for me. It's more of a "Mint" taste than a "Menthol" taste. I honestly thought that it would've been wasted on me (or would've ended up as an emergency cart) until I dropped a few drops of Coffee in it. After that I definitely liked it, but still haven't touched it since I got the two menthol's up above.
Spirit of America - Such an "interesting" flavor. I never really smoked these types of cigarettes so I have no idea how accurate they are to their name, but for me this vape is definitely not going to get used. I've tried a few times to like it but every single time I just can't get over the flavor. To me it has a very "weird" undertone to it. You can kind of taste the tobacco in it, but the other flavor is just overbearing. This might be the perfume taste that I've heard people post in regards to other flavors; if so then I can definitely understand their complaints. I don't want to use the word "disgusting" because I'm sure that there are people out there that would probably enjoy it (different strokes for different folks), but for me? No.
Parliment - When I first started vaping I got a freebie cart of Parliment and really liked it. After reading that some members here were saying that the taste had changed I was worried. My worry was quickly put to rest though as I took that first vape. It tastes exactly like my first cart and is still a great tobacco flavored vape.
So that's all my flavors, now on to the part that shocked me. I had also ordered an XL Chrome auto batt to replace my dropped and dead auto batt from a week before. When I opened my order I (selfishly) expected to see freebies, but I never expected to see a free batt as well! Not only did I get my Chrome XL, but they also threw in a Chrome reg auto batt. These things are absolutely fantastic. The Chrome XL should be more than enough for those vapers that are looking for a little extra from their batteries. I have to go out of my way to actually hit the cutoff on that thing, but when I do.. Whew, that's a lot of vapor. It also just looks great. There's no mistaking this thing for an analog at all, it's just out there in all its chrome glory. Since receiving this order I have been carrying both of my chrome batts and leaving my poor black batt at the house.
Oh, and this order took 3 days to get to my house with regular shipping. It might be the norm as far as us V4L'rs are concerned, but don't underestimate how awesome that is. I ordered a Christmas present from another site (iPod Touch) and paid for 2nd day shipping a week before Christmas so that I could actually get it on time. After 6 calls and terrible customer service I finally got it 4 days after Christmas. We might be used to the absolutely perfect customer service we get from V4L, but that doesn't mean that we don't need to be thankful.
Anyways, that's all I've got for now. I'm waiting for another order to come in so I'm sure I'll add to this later.
