Checked my mailbox and there it was....my latest order from Vaperite. I am a HUGE fan! Rou's is like crack to me, and my go-to joose is their House Extracted Natural tobacco.

I don't have a sweet tooth, but have discovered that there are some levels of sweetness that I have grown to enjoy in vaping. My favorite flavors are generally some sort of tobacco and/or coffee, with a touch of sweet.

Everyone on ECF seems to rave on about various waffle juices, so I thought, "What the heck? Time to try some new stuff". My order consisted of a Rou's re-stock, APV Tobacco, Toffle, Green Apple, Organic Coffee with toffee flavoring, and two samples: Caramel Corn and Strawberry Shortcake.

The Toffle is 100% PG, so I loaded it into a fresh Bloog carto. The smell was disgusting, and sadly it tasted like it smelled. Couldn't even begin to describe it. NOT waffle, and NOT toffee. Some confoundedly sweet something-or-other. Overwhelmingly stinky. In fairness to Vaperite, this will go in the cabinet for at least two weeks (carto too.....literally couldn't take more than three toots on it. Well, two toots, but I made myself take a third in an attempt to figure out what I was tasting....LOL).

Also sadly, I seem to have made a huge mistake, ordering the Organic Coffee with some toffee flavoring added. Whatever is going on with this "toffee" is insane, as it tasted like the exact same grossness....just less pungent. Ughhh...just tried it again to try to describe, and I simply can't.

Okay....this goes into the closet too. Please pray to the steeping gods. Yowza! In fairness to Vaperite, Todd's card DOES say to allow juices to steep. I just haven't had to do that with the tobaccos. Lesson learned!

Now, here is the GOOD news! Nope, make that the GREAT news! The APV is absolutely DELISH, right out of the mailbox. Even with the smell of this "toffee" flavor still stuck in my nose, this is a really welcome treat. Oh gosh....YUM! Very smooth, itty bitty tiny bit of subtle sweetness. Mmmmmm It's quite similar to the House Extracted Natural Tobacco, with a little extra "something", which I imagine will reveal itself over time. Pure delight, this juice!!

Vaperite tobacco juices are totally something special. So smooth, so "real tobacco". It's as if someone loved the flavor right out of the leaf and bottled it. Haven't found anything like them. They are MUST TRY for any tobacco lovers out there.

Continuing on, the green apple at least seems to smell like its namesake, but I am afraid of their non-tobacco flavors now, at least so soon out of the mailbox. All (except for the APV) are going in the closet.....for a while! Will report back when I am able to revisit them.

I absolutely LOVE Vaperite, and am sincerely hoping that my notion to step out beyond tobacco-land has not been a total loss. Just a lesson for other potential "adventurers" like me.....don't be so eager about their other flavors straight out of the mailbox, and if you like coffee....order it plain. :)

Glad you like it, Kabonk. I hope to always have some Rou's in the juice box. :)

I've been vaping the APV all day. It is totally delicious. It's now easier to identify the prune and agave (kind of a spicy raisin flavor, but that sounds "heavy" and this flavor is actually delicate). Still not feeling the vanilla, with the exception of maybe a slight vanilla flower essence. It will probably open up over time, but I also love it just as-is.

The others will just remain in the closet for a while, until I become brave enough to re-visit them.

Very well said! Big +1 on the Vaperite baccos from me too.

Hey zotster - what's the verdict post-steep? I loved my kona cream sample - thick dark yummy. I just received an 18ml bottle of it, rather light yellow, 50/50 instead of the sampler's 100% vg.. and it definitely doesn't taste the same. There's a strange almost plastic taste that I was attributing to the ego-t tank I tried for the first time, but going back to dripping it's still there. I'm sure it's just needing steeping, as Todd says and I've also read that even with different ratios of pg/vg his flavors should remain constant.

I found that out of the box Rues failed to rock my socks. However when I went back to it after a month of steep time the Hazelnut realy shines, Love the stuff. Being a huge fan of authentic tasting tabacco flavors I have to say there perique and virgina are ust amazing. APV I need to restock soon thats a flavor all its own. Good stuff.

I tried Kona only one more time and had totally lost the taste for it. LOVED it at first, and then something in there just became a real turn-off. Maybe I am backwards from you, and do better with un-steeped Kona Cream. LOL

Toffle and Green Apple never did come around for me either. And now I even do like some sweet vapes, so it's not simply that they are sweet. One of these days I need to do a big trade or PIF on all of these great-quality-just-not-for-me juices just languishing in my cupboard.

The Coffee with toffee and caramel corn were also busts, but the strawberry shortcake is FABULOUS! I've since gotten turned on to PrimeVaping's strawberry (and some other flavors), so I never re-ordered any, but it definitely goes on the "thumbs up" list.

What device/atty/carto do you use? And did you change? I'm definitely finding that there's a wide variety of taste from the same bottle of juice depending on the atty/carto. I switch between LR306 dripping, mega dual coil cartomizer, ego-t type b tank and it's all different. All this is leading me to convincing myself I need a variable voltage device.

Vaperite's Kona Cream (I get it in pure VG) is one of my absolute favorite vapes. In my experience, if it's lightly colored when you get it, it's likely a recently-made batch and definitely needs to steep - the vaguely plasticy taste (I've noticed that in the smell initially, too) should go away very shortly (less than a week), and then there will be some evolving/deepening of the flavor for a bit after that. If it's darker when you get it, it's likely already steeped.

I'm in the habit of letting my Vaperite orders steep for a while anyway, since that's what Todd recommends, and I've found it greatly improves his awesome tobacco juices, so this isn't really a problem for me. But I thought I'd throw it out there for folks who aren't in the habit of steeping.
