a lot stronger throat hits, the vapor is hotter so it feels a lot like smoking analogs, but some juice just taste bad on 6v... eg champagne and apple. red bull taste nice but very strong taste at that, dunhill gives nearly the same aftertaste like analog if not stronger... oh... the vapor... hell of a lot thicker until u nearly cant see anything past the vapor u blew.

but still theres a new learning curve to it since u dont use slow pulls for 6v. more like analog kinda pull works since theres less chance for it to actually taste burnt that way. if using slow 5 second vape ur gonna burn ur atty and it just taste bad.

now waiting for some parts to show up. wanna try to drop the volt down a notch to probably 5.5v and see how it goes. or maybe try using higher ohm attys which is hard to find here. I only manage to get 1 box of 5 3.2ohm attys which I still think is still too low. probably needs 3.5ohm for a good 6v vape... :vapor:

6V vaping is great, assuming you've got a decent atomizer around 3 to 3.5 ohms :vapor: I made a mistake of using a 1.5 ohm atomizer in my GG at 6V one time (forgot to change out the atomizer in the tank) and the flavor disappeared, the throat hit can kill an elephant :danger: and the heat was like inhaling hot alcohol  . 6V rocks, and a set of batteries last about 7 or 8 hours for me. The next thing I'm gonna try is using 2 units of IMR 18350 3.7 for 7.4 volts with a XHV atomizer at around 4.5 to 5.2 ohm, but not available locally....gotta find some from overseas vendors.

However.....I don't think it's that much different if you use a decent 1.5 to 2 ohm LR atomizer with an IMR 3.7V 18650. The only difference I can say, is that 6V tends to be a bit richer in the flavor, but just a tiny bit. :D

And yes....I know what an Alienware is....hehe.....my ex-gf works for Dell Taiwan, in charge of notebooks marketing. I hear enough about these things.

jacktan12, you are a brave man! 1.5ohms on 6v!!! Yow!

Bravery had absolutely nothing to do with it.....more like stupidity and lack of common sense to change over the atty....

Raceengine is also right with using higher resistance atties.....3.5 ohms will give you just about 10 watts, which is too high for some juices. 4.2 ohm atties will be better, with about 8.5 watts. Higher ohms also mean the batteries last longer. That said, I've seen some reviews of the IKV 3.5 ohms and they seem to be good in general. Maybe it's time you gave it a try? I'll join you.

I'll check it out later and ur welcome to join if u want  . I just received my stuff from abechik and an electronic online store today. Will be busy with soldering and such until my mod is complete...

burned my ce2r5 2 days ago after replacing my dead energizer cr123 batts
took out my tester and found out my new lifepos are pumping out more than 3.4v each after the initial charge for a total of 6.8v :glare:
so after a few hours tinkering I built my first resistor bridge out of an old cartomizer that I butchered for it's connectors and matching it with the batt connector I got from a fellow forumer.(thanks)
so now... with a new ce2r5 2.7ohm I'm getting a total resistance of 3.7ohm. now it vapes nicely with any standard atty... :vapor:

I'm surprised you burned out your ce2 so soon. I've used an old ce2r4 mod at 6V for quite a bit lately, and it's still going strong. I'm using AW 3.2V Lifepo4 batteries with the 3.0ohm ce2r4 clear mod. Very nice, but mah is a bit low and only lasts me about 6 hours.
