These have been my main issues with the lavatube...don't let these turn you off from it. It is a really nice vv tube mod and after owning the buzz and joker AV this is by far the most convenient for switching voltages on the fly. It feels great and in the hands and I would still recommend it...it does have its problems(like any Pv).

1. The button...oh the button. Its just not consistent. I would say atleast a couple times a day I go to take a hit and realize its not activated. I have also has it stick on two occasions. It wasn't a big deal...just gave it a little tap and it stopped but honestly the button is my one big gripe. When it works its awesome. It feels great and its nice a clicky. It just doesn't like to work every time.

2. The threads. If you don't have a thread lubricant I would recommend one. They are kind of rough.

3. The voltage buttons and power button rattle. You can't really notice unless you shake it but it annoys me sometimes.

4. Its long. With a 3mil tank on it it's a long pv. Still though...I have had no pocket problems with it.

That's about it. Honestly for the price of this pv those complaints are not a huge deal to me. You can nit pick just about any pv you buy and find little problems with it but when it comes down to it the lavatube is a solid vv device with an unbeatable price tag. Not the perfect pv but it will work just fine for you as a provari backup. To tell you the truth I have played with my friends provari and I prefer the lavatube.

My button doesn't stick at all. The only problem I've had with mine that you've listed is the rattling button, but that's not really a problem as I don't really shake it. lol

I've had mine for a couple weeks now and love it! No cosmetic problems.. button doesn't stick and it fires every time. I've used this same 1.7 smoktech "resurrector" carto on it since I got it at no higher than 4.1v and it's still producing lots of vapor and taste fine. I did get the kit and am using the supplied batt, it's just not the "aw" brand and it is working well. . I ordered 2 extra aw imr 18650's from supertmanufacturing and they work well.

My endcap did come off in my purse.. I used a drop of gorilla glue and it went back on and have had no problems. I cannot use a dc carto over 3.5v.. but that is fine with me.. they do tell that on the site.

I use a chibi tank on my LT with the 1.7 carto I mentioned above.

I am very happy with my purchase. :)

Have you found the tube and carts cheaper online from another supplier that fit the LT? If so, would you mind sharing?

I'm 95% sure the LT tanks volcano are selling are just re-branded Smoktechs. I purchase from Canvape in Canada and they sell the tanks with a cart and drip tip for something like 10$ a pop, and 10$ for a pack of 5 refills. You can probably find cheaper deals in the US too. Like Keeno mentioned, get the higher ohm rated cartos. 1.5 ohms actually perform better on my BB than on the Lavatube simply because the LT knocks down the voltage a little too much on LR stuff. If you stick with Smoktech, tank size don't matter, most cartos have the same diameter anyway.

In other news, Jacquelyn has got her unit in the mail so I'm not sure where this thread is heading anymore lol.
