when you transition from analogs to vaping there is a slew of side effects. Sore heavy lungs is one of them. Personally, i think you should quit the analogs all together and continue purely gaping. These effects will subside. Also, in my experience, all VG juice is quite heavy on my lungs. i choose to not vape more than 50% vg as it makes me feel similar to this. Maybe try a blend of some kind.

Hey thanks for the quick response..Ya I gotta quit the analogs... Been trying out a few samples and this Casablanca just grew on me..Not sure if it`s a blend or not, but it is great quality..Cartos last a long time and filling stays perfectly white... I will try some blends and 2.0`s...

Not sure if I chain vape or not I`m a courier and drive 300mi a day.... I vape maybe 15mins out of each hour....I had quit smoking for 3 yrs using chantix...Worked great. I gave it another try recently and could not handle it... Gets a little boring driving all day, should have never started smoking again... Thanks

No that's not chain vaping. It just might be that it's too rich in VG. Industry standards are 70/30 or 80/20 PG/ VG.

What vaping technique are you using?

It isn't necessary to draw vape into you lungs like smoking. This can be a problem for a lot of new vapers and cause a lot of lung irritation and coughing. Especially if you are now exposing your lungs to something new and continuing to smoke.

You may want to try changing up your vaping style. It's more like sucking on a straw, several times, and only pulling the vape to the back of your throat and not deep into you lungs.

PG and VG are hygroscopic. They trap moisture in our bodies and thus the vapor- PG/ VG "sucks" our bodies dry. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters of water per day. Add to that java and/or caffeine laced drinks and extreme dehydration.

Wow I never knew this?

My I ask why?

I do inhale. I have been trying to just hold in mouth and blow out my nose..Not as good of flavor thru nose for me.. I drink coffee thru out the day as well, not much water. So you all have given me tons of great info. I will make changes, I enjoy vaping...Steep learning curve for me I guess... Thanks all...

Hi again. Play with your vaping technique. I found this to be one of the harder things to figure out early in. At first everything was "Wow! It all tastes amazing!" Then I couldn't taste much of anything at all. It took me a while to figure out how to vape and what worked as far as drawing vape into my mouth to get the best taste. Now it's just second nature.

When I first began I knew all about dehydration in regards to vaping but being the  that I am wanted to test the "theory" out. Was drinking 10+ cups of java per day + Coca Cola...needless to say within a very short time I felt the effects of dehydration...all sorts of weird discomforting stuff. I immediately cut my java down to 3 cups per day and began drinking lots of water. Within a few days everything was back to normal...as for Coca Cola I can't stand the taste anymore...just an idea of how far gone my taste buds were. Without vaping more than 4 cups java per day will cause dehydration.
Cheers and the Very Best of Luck.

Slow way down on the coffee and replace it with water or gatorade (some kind of sports drink to help replace the electrolytes). If you still want coffee or tea try decaf. Just a suggestion
