And - fingers crossed - she seems to have taken to it!

A few complaints about the taste of the smoke; she'll only take menthol, and has crabbed a bit about bitterness and perhaps too much nicotine. She's taking the medium mint fron VaporGuys right now, so we'll see how she does with the low Arctic Mint juice.

(there was an argument in which i had to convince her that mint was, indeed, menthol - LOL.)

Thus far, the 901 has been trouble-free. I'll have to make sure to get her some more atomizers and batteries, and a few more battery chargers to have in various places around the house, as soon as i find somewhere that has them in stock.

Benefits for me thus far: i wasn't woken up by her morning coughing fit for the first time in 30 years this morning, and i wasn't greeted by a wave of stench when i opened the door. And my husband's near-constant sinus infection seems to be finally loosening its grip.

Wish us luck! :D

She seems to have gone back to analogs for the afternoon >___> But still, what a difference it's made in the house for her to have missed 3-5 of them this morning in favor of the 901. Phew!

Artic Mint in Low seems to be something of a hit. If i can tempt her with some flavors, like the Toasted Toffee or Coffee, we might be able to wean her off the ol' dead leaves sooner rather than later.

(I tell you, these flavors sound much too tasty - if anyone ever comes up with a good, sweet Clove flavor in zero, i might just be tempted - uh-oh!)

Hi, fuzzzilla! Yes, please do; crabby old goth would like to smoke her cloves in the sad cold rain once more. heh.

Thanks, mukky! She's going in tomorrow for a heart test/possible second stent/blockage clearing, and has agreed to take the 901 with her; if they keep her overnight, it'll be a full 36-48 hours with just vaping and no analogs. Between that and the procedure, she should be feeling so much better that maybe - just maybe - the analogs will start looking yucky.

It's so hard to keep my mouth shut and let her muddle through it as she needs to - she said this morning that i should just be grateful that she's giving it a try, and i am, but she doesn't have time or health to just TRY anymore. Argh! Gotta zip it.

So my mother did go into the hospital this morning, five-am wakeup calls all around, and they did do everything they threatened to do; cleared some blockages, ran her through a bunch of heart tests, put in a second stent. The last one was twelve years ago, and she said this one was much less uncomfortable. they didn't even put her out, just sedated her.

They'll be keeping her overnight, and if all goes well, she'll be sprung sometime tomorrow early afternoon. She'll have had the e-cigarette all that time, so hopefully she'll be good and stuck on it by the time she gets home; i ordered her a second one, some parts and some flavored liquid as extra incentive. We'll soon find out.
