My mouth is wrecked. So much worse than vapers tongue.

The roof of my mouth feels like it's shredded. My tongue hurts 24/7 like it's burnt and it tingles. Sometimes it tastes like my gums are bleeding or as if I'm chewing on tin foil. To add to that mess, it has ulcers pop up every couple days.

I started vaping a couple months ago and was loving life. No issues whatsoever with exception of occasional dry mouth. I've upped my water consumption = problem solved. About a month ago I got a bottle of ECB Cucumber Melon 18mg 50/50. It had the most intense TH ever (which I thought was strange due to the mild flavor). I vaped it all day because the flavor was so yummy I suffered through the TH and tongue tingles. The next day, my mouth was trashed. It's been a month and I haven't been able to bounce back from it. My new ADV is Virgin Vapor Organic Black Cherry Marshmallow 100%VG. I haven't vaped anything with higher PG than 50/50 since that day. Does this sound like a PG reaction? Why didn't I have any reaction before that day? I'm so confused.

Some days are worse than others but I'm terrified of not being able to vape anymore. I know I'll end up going back to smoking if I can't vape. I seriously want to cry as I type this. I can't go back to smoking, I can't!

WTH was in that cucumber melon that did this? I can 100% pinpoint it to that day. I love ECB but will never shop there again because I've tried on 2 separate occasion to write a negative review and they won't post them. How many negative reviews from others aren't posted? I have no desire to do business with a company that fudges reviews. Goodbye Dragon's Blood :( *weep*

I thankfully never had a reaction to any liquid like this. Id definately sounds like you alergic to something. One of the flavors i got from ECB i didnt like to much and i noticed on the label (50/50 blend) it asd some kind of alcohol listed in the ingredients also(sorry i dont have the bottle with me at work). Maybe it was a reaction to something like that. I would suggest going to the doctor to have it checked out. Good luck i hope everythng works out ok for you.

Did I read correctly? Youve had this problem for a MONTH now? Seriously.....if you have insurance, GO TO THE DOCTOR. Sounds like a severe allergic reaction to something in that e-liquid.

All the more reasons e-liquid vendors should list ALL the ingredients in their juices. I understand not wanting to put the specific flavors/amounts out there....no one wants to have their top juices being copied and sold elsewhere....HOWEVER, they should at LEAST state which company they get their flavorings from.....so you can determine if you are allergic to certain flavorings.

Also, if there is any kind of alcohol or whatever, that all needs to be listed. EVERYTHING should be listed.

had similar experience when it comes to menthol. whatever the companies use for menthol gives me a nasty sore throat. i have my tonsils and they give me problems all the time and menthol is really bothers it a lot. i feel like i have strep throat when i vape menthol for a day or so. i had to stop vaping for a few days and it went away never went back to the menthol and all was good. you need to go see a doctor if its bother you still after a month. you need to stop vaping completely until you figure it out.

Get to a doctor. In the meantime, don't use harsh mouth washes but use one especially with ulcerations as an infection could be present. I'll recommend the one I use, Closys.. pricey but works. Look for it in a tall white box and you don't use as much as others. It is totally non-irritating. I get mine at Walgreens. Swish it at night before bed and don't eat or drink after that. And don't add the little mint flavor that comes with it... leave it plain. Back off all flavoring for a while. Vape 100% VG with your choice of nic level. The higher the nic, the greater the TH and, therefore, irritation of membranes. Do you also have a cough or are you coughing up much phlegm/mucous? That would indicate irritation past the mouth. Again, I would take these measures while waiting to see a doc.

Def see your doctor--but in the meantime, eliminate ALL juice that has ethyl alcohol in it and see if it helps. You can easily smell it in the juice, although smaller amounts may be harder to identify. I haven't had sores in my mouth (BTW, quitting smoking can cause this) but everytime I vape a juice that has EA in it, my mouth and throat feel like I'm swallowing pins and needles.

I have been letting my juice breathe until I no longer smell ANY trace of alcohol and so far the prickling sensation is much less, although not eliminated.

Again, I would do this, but also see a doctor--even if he/she can't identify the specific problem if it is an allergy, they can rule out something more serious.

If this is indeed an allergic reaction, it is the first allergy I've had in my 45 years. I'm not allergic to ANYTHING.

It could be something other than the liquid you vaped. Years ago, my mouth and tongue were covered with ulcers like you described. It was many years before e cigs were around. I went to the doctor, and he said that it was a herpes virus, a lot like shingles. He gave me some medicine, and the sores disappeared and never returned. You may be falsely associating it with the ecig liquid you are using and the appearance of the sores is coincidentally associated with it. Unless you see a doctor, you will continue to suffer the pain. Either way, sitting back and doing nothing seems kind of pointless.

Yes it could be a delayed PG reaction, and yes allergies can appear months to years after quitting smoking which can make u more susceptible to allergies.

Please see a Doctor if situation continues. Looks like u have a head start as to what might have caused your ailment.

Hope u get better soon, and can continue to Vape. Most can Vape but I'm sure some can't, like anything in life.
