Hey Guys,
Well today I was happily switching between my EA mod with my Russian 91 and my MVP which had my Steam Turbine on it, all the sudden poof, gone dead nothing, it was fully charged and everything so I let it sit and I got it to turn back on but it kept jumbling my resistances and voltages around so I thought, darn my coil must have shorted so I threw on my protank I carry for backup and it did the same thing. Well I went to a local B&M to find something to get me by till I could save up for a dna 30 mod. Well I really didn't want to go back with another MVP so the guy brought out the Segelei legend. I said is that the really wonky one where you have to shake it and tilt it and all that. NOPE! he said it was the new version no wonky shaking to change settings and it hits up to 20 watts regulated! when he said the price I had to have it. So far I am waaaayy impressed with this new legend my russian is vaping at 20 Watts and its simply awsome. Just thought I would throw this post up here see if anyone else has this new PV?

Yeah, that does suck. If mine quits on me today I'll be disappointed but if it lasts me 6 months I'll be OK with that. I hope it lasts longer than that though.

Glad to hear that you like your Legend. I'm not familiar with that device. I'll have to take a look.

from a vast number of comments i've seen on here, the mvp is a long lasting, reliable device. while there are the anomaly duds. but those exist in everything that just exists.

Thats why I bought it and it was great while it worked but like I said I have horrible luck with these things pv' s, cellphones, tvs. I always seem to get duds lol

There are tons of people that have had great luck with them. I'm VERY surprised that there aren't more threads about them misbehaving seeing as how many people own them. Says a lot about their reliability.

I have had my itaste 2.0 for about a month now. I have had a ton of- OH S$%# moments. I'm pretty tough on things, thats why i only spent around 60 bucks for a mod. I have dropped this thing from 6+ ft heights onto concrete and the most it gets its a blemish i caan wipe off. There are only bout 3 nics in it so far. Im guessing it will get many more in its life- but to me it add character. I love my itaste and i do trust it(As far as i can when it comes to how rough i am). With that said, i do have 3 backups. 2 egos, a mech mod and a VV eGO. So if anything does happen to it i wont freak out. All in all- Great price for something as reliable as this device is.

The MVP actually has quite a good rep here in the forum - plenty of devoted fans, no reports of flakiness as you describe.

No matter, let's get back to the legend. Post a review, either in on this thread or start a new one. You can be our patient zero. 20 watts at a good price sounds enticing.

Ill get on it =)

I have actually had the same problem with an mvp 1.0 but it took a fair 6 months of beating cuz im super hard on things always standing up with it in my lap and have lost a few protanks to this lol...but anyways mine would constantly show the resistance and Christmas tree constantly going from green to red turning itself on and off. Never was able to fix and had quiet the handy electrician look at it and said it seemed e juice got onto the board leaking into it? Maybe thats what happened to yours? Hope that helps?

I've been looking into the Sagelei Legend myself. I've heard amazing things about it so far, nothing negative yet. I'm really thinking about getting one with my next pay-check. I've always been an MVP fan. My first iTaste MVP I had, it got ran over twice-still worked, it was thrown against a wall by a football player-still worked and kept champing for almost a year until my husband left and it decided to just die on me. I got the iTaste MVP V2 when it was first released, I still have it. I love it to death-granted I did some nitty-gritty work on it to make sure it still stayed in condition, but I never thought I would go back to a PV. Although, I am now seriously considering it.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks for the insight! :)

Jeff, take it to Denton Vape Shop on Locust St. Let Darin take a look at it. He fixed mine when I screwed up the 510 connection.

Dan
I actually went over there and david I think his name was fixed me up with the legend I know a few of the guys over there actually they come into the store I work at all the time. Thanks for the tip though
Shay, the legend is well pretty legendary kinda outdated now with the dna 30 that just came out but I have found 20watts can chuck plenty big enough clouds with a standard build. Even works wonders with my boge f16 carto tanks. Nice to have dna 20 capabilities at half the price
