My navigation not functioning

For the past couple of days when I try to navigate the site using the "Forum" tab all the forums show up momentarily but within a couple of seconds the whole first section disappears. In order to go to my favourite sections of the site - The general vaping discussion or the e-liquid forum I have to follow some link in my alerts.

Does this have to do with me only, or maybe with Chrome only, or is anyone else encountering this sort of problematic behaviour?

At the far right of that section, look for this symbol > and click on it. That will expand things back to normal.
