My New Auto Battery

I ordered two new batteries. One automatic and one manual in the regular size. The new auto battery has teeny, tiny holes in it. The manual has regular size holes. Are the teeny, tiny holes new? Or did I get an old-style battery. So far it seems to vape fine...but it would seem
the larger holes would give a better vape? Does anyone know the answer?

The larger holes may also STOP it from vaping. The vacuum switch is operated on the principles of differential pressure. Too large of holes fails to generate enough vacuum to lift the pin.

I was just concerned because I have many, many batteries now (don't want to be caught without one), and NONE of them have these teeny, tiny holes except my one Extra-Long auto.

The XL's were the original size holes [smallest], and still my favorites. Best all-around producers. I think the newer auto-designs are "over-tweaked"...

My one XL battery is our least favorite. I find it very hard to drawn on and get anough vapor. ??

As counter-intuitive as it might sound - try drawing more lightly. Just enough to activate the LED. And loooonger. 9 seconds is perfect for me. For me, that makes them really produce. Just watch some of the 36mg juices doing that. Loop-knocking for sure!

I only like the XLs with the small holes.They def work the best.

I have tried the autos and manuals with the larger holes and now I wish I had stocked up before the switch. The new manual (regular size) is just okay. It's a bit noisy, but I get fairly good vapor production.
I hated the regular auto. I had to suck really hard for the light to just turn on, since there seemed to be a lot of vacuum loss through the holes. I did the toothpick trick (I think PawPaw was the one that came up with this. Sorry, if I am mistaken) and it works a little better, but still very noisy. I prefer the older styles.

After trying a few of the new style short batteries with the larger air holes, I would have to say they are not my favorites. I much prefer the smaller air holes for vapor/flavor production. Even after tweaking by centering the battery post, cranking the cartomizers down tightly and the toothpick trick, they still do not give me a really satisfying experience.

On the flip side, the v4l XL manual batteries are the best I've used. Incredible flavor and clouds of vapor! I hope they stay with the existing design on these, as they are perfect as is IMHO.
