Yeah, back on a computer now and it's not life sized on this one either. Oh well, guess if somone runs into this thread and has and iPAD, and really wants to know how big it is, they can grab it and load this thread. It was just one of those going to sleep with the tablet, vaping, and reading ECF to sleep type of moments.
That veneer ends up less than 1/32" thick after sanding. No appreciable weight to it.
It looks amazing, but I'd be almost too chicken to use it and risk messing it up! Great work there Mist!
It's definitely not an out and about mod. I'm too scared to drop it in a pocket and go, that's why I want a mini. 
Oh, and here I thought they had reproduced the Provari tube in solid wood. I didn't realize it was a veneer.
Still looks very nice, though.
And still as strong as steel.
How did you do it?? Take the metal casing off then encased in veneer??? That is sick!!
Yeah, sorta. cba had it taken apart and the empty tube sent to me and I wrapped it in veneer. I'm not taking responsibility for taking apart and re assembling anybody else's mod.

No cons whatsoever. I never took it with me before, because of the size. I don't see myself taking with me now either. If it was a mini, I might, but I'll probably beat the crap out of the mini when I get it, so I'll probably just paint it.
its a sleeve, I sewed it together. I'm no seamstess, but I'll show it anyway.. It will slip on and off, but it is tight and the braided strap at the top gives it a cushion when laying on its side..
