My new RIVA

Love the RIVA a got from you Saturday. Works awesome. I took this thing out of the box around 4pm on Saturday. I used it exclusively until Monday night - thats when the battery died. 2.5 Days on a partial-from-the-factory charge. Unreal!!!
So I threw it on the charger Tuesday at 7am. at 4pm that day I had to leave work so I needed to unplug it. The light was still red on both the charger and the usb. So I took it home and plugged it in around 5pm. I went out at got home at 11pm and the red light on the charger and USB were both still on. Thats 9hrs + 6hrs...15hrs and the lights are still red. Is this normal? I unscrewed the battery from the charger cause I want to use it today and its working fine Im just curious if its normal for the light to NOT turn green after 15 hrs.

There is a hairy reset on the chargers that you have to unplug EVERYTHING from itself and then set it back up and plug it all back in...I have also found that they have to be snug in the charger for the lights to operate properly...Thanks

Drew, still experiencing some issues with the charger and the lights. It does charge tho.

Wondering, is this charger the same as a 510 charger? Could I use a 510 charger to charge my RIVA battery? Just curious, I dont wanna mess it up.

People have said that the Standard 510 charger works (even Drew has said this). Although it does work, they also say that it takes much longer, because the Riva charger is accelerated, as the 510 is not.

I read a post where someone tried the 510 charger on the Riva battery, but it did not fit tight enough to get a charge.

In conclusion: If it fits, it will work, but the 510 will take a longer time to charge.
Also note, I've read that if you put a 510 battery on the Riva charger, it will fry it, due to the accelerated charging.

I have 6 of these chargers and about 20 of these Batts from EM & Janty, every dam one of them works differently it seems, dont trust the lights but they do charge.
