My new setup!

Today I picked up a king mod, a new VCT5 battery and a horizon tech Arctic tank.
This is my first mech mod and I'm loving it so far.
I also have to say the arctic at .2 ohms is vicious. Chucks vapor and an amazing flavor to boot. Can't beat it!

Wow, very nice.... blister pack disposable coils have come a long way since I last bought some.
0.2 ohm? Amazing. How long do they last?

I'm still on the first coil, but some of the other reviews claim that they are seeing 2 to 4 weeks off of them. But we'll see.

Good call on the king.
One of my favorite style of mods, out of the 60 or so I own.
Kings are solid and very reliable.

.2 ohm disposables? Lol
Crazy how far they have come.
The last time I bought a premade coil head, the lowest I remember buying was 1.8 on an evic.

It's nice. I'm having a hard time getting a good connection to the battery for some reason. I know my batteries are good so idk what the deal is. It just feels weak. I'm gonna try and clean up the contacts later on and see what happens. As for now I'm using my trusted Hana mod.

With the matte stainless versions, I lightly sand the shaft of the switch and all the internal switch areas, and the hole the shaft slides through. The "media blasted" finish can be sanded off the inside parts and it'll greatly improve performance.
My SS kings hit just as hard as my brass ones.

Or a legit one that's been sitting in inventory on a store shelf.


Btw, Sony still Makes vtc5s.
They are never meant to be sold individually to the public.
They are meant for power packs and industrial use.

Sony freaked out when VTCs became the battery of choice for vapers.
They were afraid some kid would short one, cause thermal runaway and sue them.

Yeah I know all of mine are legit. I happen to live within close proximity of a very reputable brick and mortar vape shop. But thanks for your concern. I'm going to mess around with sanding this king now.

I believe the first part, they didn't originally make them for vaping. NO BATTERY COMPANY MAKES OR EVER MADE BATTERIES FOR VAPING!!!!!

At 0.2 ohms.... mod maintenance is the word of the day.

Get yourself some antioxidant grease too. Either Ox-Gard or Deoxit. Everything else I see recommended is just silicone grease and should be avoided.

I bought one of these about a year ago. It's a great little mod and I still use it from time to time.
