So today i was looking at my Oddy's ohms on my provari and noticed that it has increased form around 2.8 to 4.0-4.2 now. I was wondering if this is normal. I know a bit on electrical circuits and know the ohms can incress when the wire starts breaking down. While I have had to turn up my voltage and my wick and coil is very dark it is putting out the best vapor it has ever has, its always been good to great but right now its unbelievable. should I be concerned and replace it just to be safe.

These things happen AmericanPirate.
Examine carefully the coil.
If the wire does not stick out in different directions (they can create additional stress for soprikosanii with the case), then another reason to increase ohm formed a strong "soot" on the reel. The turns of the spiral "speckle" from the aroma and give additional resistance.

next time make a coil around the wick with the NR wire American. That way the NR wire will always have a good connection with the metal channel.:)

Glad to see I was not the only one. My first coil started at 1.7 and stayed there for about 4-5 days. Then, after on of my re-fills, it jumped up to 2.0. The next day it was 2.2, then 2.4. I waited until the tank was empty, then disassembled Penelope to see if I could figure out what was happening. Everything looked exactly the same as when I initially wound the coil (except a bit dirtier). On my next coil, I wound it to ~ 2.7 ohms. Two days after, it was up to 3.0, and has stayed there for about 3 days now. It's not a big problem if you have a VV or VW device. I'll just be sure to wrap the coil at a low enough resistance that it doesn't creep too high and out of my device's range.

On my V1 I had trouble with resistance jumping after refills. The locking ring holding the negative wire was backing off as I opened the juice control. I was getting the ring as tight as I could but still happened. I saw Imeo post that after tightening the ring to turn the ceramic housing again. I started doing that and even though I can't feel it move it hasn't came loose again. You can tell if this is whats happening by closing the liquid control, if the resistance drops back to normal, thats your trouble.

You have to do what unloaded did all the time so ceramic housing will always be stable against base. But unloaded means something different than your issue. Anyway, what I told you to do is this:

Do you mean I should tighten the ring, then twist (to tighten) the ceramic housing a bit more? I'll try it on my next refill, because that seems to be when my resistance jumps.
