One week update and breaking news:
The biggest news, I haven't touched my provari in over a week. That is the highest praise I can give my new reo grand since that provari has not left my personal orbit since last September. I've taken to this bottom feeding like a catfish.
Flavor changes are a little more hassle, but I've gotten it down to an art. Slide a portion of paper towel up under the juice bottle as I tilt it out, unscrew the old while holding the grand upright, let the tube hang above the juice level, cover the rm2 air hole with a finger while blowing the remaining juice back down through the tube. Screw on new flavor bottle but don't squonk. Fire the button and burn off majority of old flavor and then squonk in the new and ride the wave. Sounds very time consuming but only takes me maybe 2 minutes tops. I mostly vape Ahlusion tobaccos so the flavors meld well regardless but that technique leads to nice fresh flavor by the second draw.
Running the RM2 on the reo is just bliss. I use xc-116 for wick, it holds up well to dry burns or even torching and I can keep a coil going for quite a while even though some of my nets like want2vape Louisville are notorious for gunking up a coil.
Best of all, the reo/rm2 combo is just a fantastic vape. It just hits all the priorities for me plus I can actually pocket it and not worry. I remember someone mentioned Mothers mag polish could be used to shine the tumbled raw version. Well, any Anglo-Saxon of my generation worth his salt has some of that stashed in their garage somewhere. Sure enough, I dug it out and threw the elbow grease to it and now it really looks like something James Bond would carry.
I'm as happy as a pig in mud.
