Interesting story behind the Skidoo...it was a family business started in the 1937 in rural Quebec. They built this contraption to battle the difficult winters up here. Now the business makes regional jets & high speed trains, I'm sure you have heard of the Bombadier CR-J planes...50 to 150 seat regional passenger planes.

But they still make a wicked Skidoo...lol

VIPOD if you don't mind...Where in Canada was this? I want to go to Canada soooo bad to visit. The only big snow I get to see is the machine made snow in Massanutten, VA to go skiing (which I suck at).

I'm in Eastern Canada, basically bordering Maine, in a province called New Brusnwick. We have ski hills, but if you want some real big hills, go to Quebec (that;s where I was born), and spent my winters 2hrs north of Montreal skiing before I could walk...lol

Some links for you:
Downhill skiing in Québec
Mont Tremblant Ski Resort Official Site - Ski, Hotel, Condos, Golf, Spa, 4 Seasons Vacations in Quebec, Canada

BTW...skiing and vaping is fun :)

But I thought it was global warming. WARMING! That don't look like warming to me!

T, the last time I looked going from snow to rain signifies warming....the ice caps are melthing....warming again----changes weather patterns---warming will eventually lead to an ice age......go figure.
:)

Global Warming certainly creates a healthy debate...but take it from someone who's lived in Canada most of his life, the weather patterns are messed up. Winter in Montreal during my youth (circa 1970's) would start in November and end in April. January & February was basically an average temp of -15c and consistent, and the snow was deep. We still get the cold days and the snow days, but they are sporadic now...mixed with higher temperatures and rain from week to week...Global Warming, maybe not....let's just say this planet is going threw a climate adjustment that may change the landscape...I'm all for some orange groves up here...lol

Believe me.....I think Al Gore is a total wack job. I'm in the camp that thinks the weather changes are a normal evolution of the progression of the earth. What I don't like is we are getting all of your cold weather. Really you guys can keep it it's ok with me. please....jk. :)

I agree! I had to LMAO last year when Obama had to leave the global warming conference early because there was an unseasonal, gigantic snow storm in Washington, DC.

Thanks for those links. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I just HAD to click the dog sledding link on the website and the snowmobiling looks great too. The lesson pricing isn't bad either. Another thing to add to my bucket list :)
