I just love people that are waiting for there first pv. There so excited. And you should be, because your going to love it. Imo I would order a couple of the Joye attys. They are better.

8 days? I know that's got to be painful. But, tbh, I've made my share of mistakes too. Try to hang in there, it'll come eventually and I'm pretty sure it will have been worth it.
Awwww. BTW the AC charger in it is likely to be a UK plug. You could use the separate USB cable part of the battery charger on a real PC motherboard USB port or any AC to USB w/ output of 5v and at least 500mA should work fine.

If you get the 1100 mAH batteries, there is a disclaimer about charging them with your computer. You can always use an extra charger. Might want to order one now from vapor junction.

My order from Liberty Flights took 6 days. For some reason the Post Office routed it from San Diego to Federal Way, WA and then back to Riverside, CA. 100 miles and it took six days.

Can you refill cartos with other flavors once you use it for another flavor. I figure your end up with the taste from the last one. also if I fill a cartoon with a flavor, can I leave it with liquid it will it evaporate and waste liquid. I plan on using the cap/condom method as I have boge cartos I'm gonna be using. For eliquid should I just use my drip tip for testing flavors?

I don't use cartos with one juice then another unless I want to vape the blend of flavors. I will do it with prefilled cartos and top off with something that blends well. For blank cartos I use 1 carto for the same flavor over and over. I used dripping or a cart to try flavors (actually a Joye 306 atty and its cart which together are the size of a carto). Then if I like something enough, it gets a carto. Else I just vape it occasionally at home w/ drip or cart.
Some people are successful with cleaning, drying and reusing cartos but some are not successful. After a carto has be well-used, I stick it in a bag and plan to try a cleaning but have not yet.
Juice can evaporate some in cartos because some juices have distilled water or PGA to adjust the flow, and I think nicotine can dissipate somewhat, etc. If you keep the condoms on it should help prevent that.
I don't use the condom method for filling. One former proponent of that method now thinks it shortens the life of a carto. And I like to see inside, see the air channel is straight and free of juice and that no juice is pooled above the stuffing. I usually use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on stuffing-type cartos so I can just pull that and add a bit of juice if it needs it.

well I got my riva! I only had about ten minutes to play with it before I had to go to class where I am now. My first vape was lf menthol 14mg. I put about 7 drops right on the wick and let it sit for a few minutes and then took my first hit. No burning taste or anything but that liquid tasted really bad lol. Ill give it anotherbshot later. She's charging now. I don't trust that cheap charger either lol the red light starts to fade and then goes back no matter how hard I turn it. It seems to be charging. Anyways the 14mg menthol is not really working xfor me. I will be trying my 8 other strengths and flavors within the next few days and I have a couple from hoosiercigs coming as well. I pit the atomizer top side down in a papertowel in my stash box hoping that the menthol drips out. Oh and when I put the 7 drops in and let it soak it came right through the battery end. I cleaned it up but I wonder if the juice gets on the battery if that's bad
You can use any AC to USB that outputs at least 1/2 amp (500mA) of 5v which is the USB spec. Or you can use a motherboard USB on your computer to charge a battery (don't use an unpowered hub unless the one battery is the only thing on it since any devices on the hub would split the power). I think a separate USB to AC is safer. I ended up buying a couple of Rosewill 4-port 2 amp USB to AC (I got mine at NewEgg.com) and I have one at work and one at home. And some people use a 2-port one from Walmart. I like the 4 port - I can charge 4 assorted batteries as long as 3 of them have the skinny cable-type battery cables. I can fit one stubby solid battery to USb adapter in an end slot.
Well, it won't hurt for juice to get on your battery if your battery is a manual battery. You push a button to activate it, right? However....the menthol juice...different story. It's NOT going to drain out just because you turned it upside down...it just won't drain out like that. You probably were vaping a combination of juice and primer fluid that came with the atty. Did you blow the primer fluid out of the atty really well before you dripped your juice in? If not, it's probably a mixture and pretty nasty. Even if you did, there may still be a little primer left which will screw up the taste. The menthol is always really hard to get out of an atty. A lot of people who use menthol will dedicate an atty just for menthol juices. Same with other strong juices like cinnamon. If you can't get it out, just go to a different atty to test your other juices that aren't menthol and maybe save that one for menthol flavors. Just a suggestion. After all this waiting, I think we ALL want this first day or so to go really well for you.
Oh, and 7 drops is too much to drip. Only drip maybe 2-3 drops at a time. Then take about 6-8 puffs, and do it again. If it's leaking out the battery end, you're putting too much in. You'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Also, if you put too many drops in at a time, you'll flood the atty and it won't produce much vapor. If that happens, take it off the battery and blow it out into a tissue from the battery end. Then drip a couple of drops and start again.
