I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow or Friday, so it was a nice surprise when I got home. I've been hitting it off and on for a few hours now and I couldn't be happier.

I've been using the 510 atty with the adapter and I can't believe how this thing hits. When I get a good hit, it feels just like smoking an analog. I'm a drinker and have to have a smoke while I drink. The SD satisfies that craving perfectly.

I tried the 901 atty for a bit and never could get a decent TH off it. It vapes well, just no TH. Maybe after using it a while it will break in and produce a stronger hit, but the 510 worked like a dream from the start.

Really, my only complaint is the lanyards are a nightmare to attach. I decided I probably won't walk around with the SD on my neck anyway, so I just attached the small one to the button cap so it doesn't fall off and get lost. This complaint is minor and doesn't affect the vaping experience, so no big deal. But I was making up new swear words for a while there while trying to thread the lanyards through the holes.

I just took a hit... geez that 510 atty rocks! I love the SD MKII and would recommend it to anyone, especially heavy smokers looking for a strong battery with plenty of life, tons of vapor, and a great TH. In addition, it just looks sharp. I'm sold and don't intend to ever go back to analogs.

Cheers!

Congrats on the new SD MKII, Nicronon. I have a couple of Screwdriver MKIIs, and find them to be extremely reliable PVs. The Screwdriver is a sturdy and simple device that works without much maintenance. Enjoy! :D

Thanks, I'm loving it. I gave my old No 7 starter kit to my neighbors who both smoke and have been interested in my new toys. The husband wants to get an SD like mine, so I thought the No 7 would be a nice intro to vaping until he can get his SD. I've also got the checkout girls at the local Walgreens and the guys at the local headshop interested in vaping now lol. I'm spreading the word!

You're gonna love the long battery life, and you won't be needing the lanyard or button cap!
And yes, definitely keep that screw done up tight for the button/switch.
If the button is too easy to press, stretch the spring a little with your fingers.
Keep threads clean and it will just go and never stop,
Best device I've owned :)

Edit here...careful, it likes to roll off tables.

Please check your switch is nice and tightly screwed up (you can check this with a "real" screwdriver) - IMHO the only real weakness of the SD Mk2 is that the switches can come unscrewed - resulting in lost springs etc - if you don't don't do this. I have both Mk1 and Mk2 SDs and they have been VERY reliable.

Yeah, I had heard about the button coming loose, so familiarizing myself with it was one of the first things I did. :)

Actually, I went ahead and attached the button cap with the little lanyard. Since I don't hang the SD around my neck, I'll usually drop it into my pocket and I don't want it going off accidentally. And if I pop the cap off and leave it hanging, it stops it from rolling on tables. :)

Thanks for the tips!

can I ask where you ordered your screwdriver... I've just about decided to order the starter kit but I want the best price I can get. I've heard that totallywicked.com is expensive and that is the only place I know where to get them.

I got mine from Totally Wicked actually. They're $99, but there are promo codes everywhere to get 7.5% off, bringing it down to $92.50. I would recommend TW, as my SD arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They also include 2 901 attys, 2 510 attys, and a 901 to 510 adapter.

I've had my MKII about three weeks and have no problems with it. It performs exactly as described. I'm using a 510 atty & carts. But, I'm really tired of dragging a bottle of juice around, and having to fill the carts several times a day, so I've ordered a REO, which will solve all of those problems. I also got mine from Totally Wicked, and the service was good....
