Hey Bullette, make sure the bottom of the tube is not flush with the bottom of the bottle. This causes a vacuum lock and liquid can not get up the tube. I like to cut the bottom of my tube at an angle to prevent it from happening.

Exactly.

Also, after doing that, I would squonk without the carto until you see a consistent feed action, then put the carto back on.

Thanks Ratman
But I don't think that's the problem. I seem to be just getting air when I squonk the bottle. Kinda like I have no pressure. I unscrewed the bottle, dumped out the juice, refilled it about half way. Tried it again with a fresh battery. Still just air.

What have I done?

Reonauts talk about a gasket. What are the symptoms of a blown gasket?

Sounds like a small leak in either the bottle, feed tube or gasket in the bottle cap. Is there juice in the mod anywhere?

It does sound like a possible leak but I have also had that happen just from how tight or loose the cap was screwed onto the bottle. Sometimes nothing moves and there just is not any apparent reason for it. In this case I take the atty off and tighten the bottle all the way tight and pump the bottle a little over and over again until no bubbles come out and just liquid and then I will back the cap off a touch. Sometimes this works and sometimes it is just the opposite where I have to get it working via a loose cap and then tighten.

It sounds like you are past this point tho so most likely a leak as mentioned. Look for wetness along the tube and make sure the o-ring is still in the cap. These are things you have probably already tried but all i got for ya.

The only gasket I am aware of is inside the 510 connector itself and would cause firing issues not cause feeding ones.

Try removing the o-ring from the cap, cleaning the o-ring it and re-seating it. If that doesn't do the trick, perhaps there is a leak in the tubing - you can remove the tubing and re-assemble it upside-down to see if that solves the problem.

*edit* - one other easy fix is to slide the cap a smidgen further down the tube - this will help insure that the end of the tubing isn't resting on the bottom of the bottle.

Haha. That's why they call you "SuperX". I took the carto off & squonked until I saw juice in the catch cup. Then I put the carto back on. Seems to work fine now. I'll keep you informed if it acts up again.

I'm wondering if this might have been a priming issue. We'll see.

Thanks SuperX. I'm vaping again. YAY. :)
