So me and my girlfriend was told about these and immediately had interest. Having no clue, we hit google, based on adds and web site quality, since it's all we had to go on, we purchased a starter kit from Blucigs. These are not bad at all, but very little vapor production and they seem to putter out quickly.

She then ordered Intellicig, way way better, she was a 2 pack a day person and went to nearly none without even trying, the intellicig were very satisfying.

Now it's my turn to find the ecig for me since the Blu doesn't have enough punch to it. I've read quite a bit here and from my understanding it looks like I'm best to try a intellicig, M401 or the Joye 810.

Any suggestions or comments about this?

I'm not really into the flavor thing yet, I just want a good satisfying nicotine fix to be honest.

Any comments or suggestions on ecigs or vendors would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to place my order today.

Thanks in advance...

Spent some change on starter kits looking for the right 'hit'. Then went to a mod from thagbuilt.com and it seems to be the trick.

There was a recent post where someone talked of recommending a mod from the get go as these cheap Chinese starter kits just aren't cutting it. A reply countered saying that most people want to keep the cigarette smoking experience when first switching to a vape unit so an overbuilt MOD might turn them off.

I just went through all this,,,,YMMV,,,there was no cigarette smoking satisfaction that came from any startker kit set until my wife tried the Chuck. Pure satisfaction and the closest yet, she says, to smoking.

I agree with Thugmusk. If I had known how things work with e-cigs before making some purchases, I would have simply ordered a Chuck, atty's, carts, and juice. Forget the look and feel of analogs. I like my 510, but those batts suck. I spent money on a PCC & extra batts, but when I go out for a few hours I still worry about running out of batt life. I am anxiously awaiting my Chuck. And I have 4 batts on order. With that setup, I can't see running out of batt life.

Happy vaping!

A battery mod will remove lots of the hassle of using e-cigs (the biggest is the little battery size that comes with stock kits!). Love my Chuck and Little Chuck.

If you want to try an inexpensive 801 unit, ecigsupply.com may still have the $27 starter kit available (killer price). Not pretty (white only) but I love my 801 for the cart size (and the stock battery lasts about 4 hours!). It was my first unit, and I'm still using the 801 after 8 months smoke free! Here is a link:

I had a Blu and agree with most of you sentiments on them. After playing around with making my own mod, I ended up buying a Chuck and am quite pleased. I think any big bat mod will give you what you're looking for.

If you're really looking for a nic hit, you may want to look for a big bat mod that can do both 3.7v as well as 6v/7.2v so you can play around with HV vaping at some point without having to upgrade the battery housing, just the bats themselves. This way you can just pop in a couple CR123 bats from a local brick & mortar the experiment with.
