Tribeca is my go to juice, always. BTW, what's the difference in all the menthol flavors? I'm assuming some have more tobacco flavor to them? Every one of their descriptions of their menthol flavors says, " Pure menthol taste" lol... and that's about it.

I'm not a menthol smoker, but I've been trying out gotvapes menthol mania flux juice or whatever it's called. It makes me want to try halo's menthol's now.

I really really like V2's peppermint, and have tried many other's version of peppermint, but nothing comes close to V2's. I think I now realize that V2's pepp probably has some menthol in it, or something. The curious thing is there is no hint of wintergreenish taste, or classic menthol taste to it. It just tastes like PURE peppermint, but not overly sweet. But dam, the throat hit/rush is extremely powerful. Yet no other peppmintt I've tried has that powerful tingly rush to it.

I'm trying to find something similar to this. I'm hoping halo has something like it, because I think their juices are quite special compared to everything I've tried.

I'd say that if your eye is on Halo, and menthol is on your mind, you should really check out their Menthol Ice. Outside of Halo I think Mom & Pop's American Blend Menthol is way worth checking out, I have found one flavor they make that I didn't really care for, RYO, and everything else has been either great or sublime. V2 does sell their juice by the bottle, they're a little pricy mind you but by no means the worst offenders price wise lol.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know V2 sells by the bottle, already bought 2 bottles of peppermnint. You're right about them being a little pricey, which is why I need an alternative! Halo isn't much cheaper, but I certainly feel they are worth it.

Yeah, I like a few of Halo's juices, but none of them taste like tobacco to me, however they do a good job of satisfying a tobacco craving, if that makes any sense (throat hit, lung feel, vapor, strong flavor). I highly recommend "Tribeca", it's really indescribable. All their juices need some breathing time, and a week or 2 to steep in my opinion though. I'm just now trying HX3, I like it so far, kinda like slightly mentholated juicy fruit and something else? Tobacco? Maybe?
Experimenting with lower nic juices before bedtime (can't sleep), I just bought 18 bottles of 6mg juice through the classies, and one of them is a 30ml bottle of Halo Tiki. I had heard about Halo Tiki before, but never tried it until tonight...and it's making me HAPPY! :)

DARN GOOD vapor and flavor. Not much throat hit, but I'm thinking that goes with low nic? I would never recognize it as a tobacco flavor, but I def experience a 'fruitiness' on the exhale; very SMOOTH vape with a lingering (and pleasant) after taste.

Only thing I know for sure, I HAVE to try more Halo juice!

BTW - the idea of 'CEDAR' flavor initially sounds appealing to me, but NOT if it's like 'Pine Sol' or 'Bug Spray'. (Yeeech!)

So far I've only tried Halo liquids. Quite new to vaping, less than teo months. I love the taste of TruePure but it absolutely kills my throat. I've been mixing a few drops of that with Cool Mist when I refill and I think it's a nice mix. I love Menthol Ice when I'm in the mood for a sweeter, candy like flavor. Need to order more though. My first bottle of Malibu Menthol should be here by now but the mailman is taking his sweet .... time today. I think waiting a couple of days before I can try it is going to be absolute torture. I hated Hx3 though. I let it sit for over a week before trying it a second time and still didn't like it. I couldn't get past the sweet peanut taste it had. I'm going to have to try V2's Peppermint though. I've been wanting to try a peppermint from someone but haven't wanted to take the risk with money bring tight, lol.

Just got my sample pak today -- Halo's "tobacco" pak. So glad to read others here mention their "solvent" undertone. I read so many good comments about Halo juices on ECF; I like that they're American made, etc. But I really didn't like even one of these juices. They all had that same undertone that I found really repugnant and chemical. Yes, taste is personal.

I've got 'em, so I'll let 'em steep and go back to them in a couple of weeks -- but why? Even their packing card says their flavors will change "considerably" once opened, over the next 24-48 hours. Why can't they open them themselves and let them steep for two days before shipping them? Or hold them for two weeks and let them steep before shipping?

Seems to me, if two weeks will make that much difference in taste, they'd want to make the best first impression.

The only reason I've even tried tobacco flavors again after 2.5 years of vaping (I rather quickly gave up trying to find one I liked and have vaped Tasty Vapor's Cafe Machiatto exclusively for a couple of years) was that I ordered some E-Turbo LRs from another vendor and they threw in a sample of one of their tobaccos. Instant love! Solid tobacco but clean, with a faint hint of nut, great vapor production. Right out of the bottle. No steeping. So impressed I ordered a full-size bottle within hours -- along with sample sizes of three other of their tobacco flavors.

Out of THOSE, I liked all three. Straight out of the bottle. No steeping. And one of them was outstanding. So I found ANOTHER tobacco flavor I immediately fell in love with -- and ordered a larger bottle of THAT within hours too.

Maybe the Halos will taste as great as so many think they do, after a couple of weeks. They SMELLED interesting. At least until I vaped them. Then they didn't even SMELL good. (That "solvent" undertone again.) Or maybe it's just that my taste buds and their ingredients aren't in the least sympatico. At least I know it's not just me.

Did you get your dutch chocolate free sample? I am the one that described halo prime 15 tasting like dirty socks check out the ecf thread if you want to laugh. I just got a the 4 juices I ordered and the free chocolate. I am really really impressed with the dutch chocolate. I might do a review soon but figured give it some time to steep.

I learned from my good impression of the malibu menthol so I got menthol flavors mostly. Their menthol is really nice and I don't taste the chemically taste with them right out of the mail. The risk I took with the HX3 and it didn't pan out :( I was not that impressed with halo for about a year. I am glad I gave them another chance because I think I found another favorite ejuice with them. Despite me being rude in my review, I am never describing a juice as tasting like dirty socks again, they are really nice and get back with questions often in the hour. I would try their other flavors you might like them. They seem to have a really loyal fan base. I think it is for a reason.
BWB takes a year to steep. Halo juices do taste different after a week but they really need a month or two and the chemical taste is still there but faint. You can alway try fast steeping them by leaving the bottles open for a couple of days next to a fan or window or dunking the closed bottles in really warm water (I hear that works but I have not tried it) Hope it works out for you. Interested in hearing what you think after they steep. Some of the best juice out their needs to steep IMHO.

I've had a HALO sampler for about a week now, and given them multiple tries, and honestly Aaron, I'd agree with you. I've been off the cigs for a little over three weeks at this point. The only one I even remotely like is the Turkish TOB, and even then I have to be in the mood for it. I'll let them steep for another week, and if they don't do it for me then, it's off to the classifieds.

LOL I found the exact same taste with smooth 8! instead of malcom, this tastes exactly like my uncle and his cigarette smell masked with Old Spice. what kinda Pschycotic mind thought of this flavor? Every person who makes their own E-juice should taste this flavor so they know how NOT to make a juice.

Finally we come to Smooth 8... remember this is just my opinion. This is by far, very far, the absolute worst juice I've ever tried. My first full-time job was in a cotton mill and there was this old man named Malcolm who wore tons of Brut or Old Spice and you could smell him 5 minutes after he walked by. It literally felt like I was vaping Malcolm, I filled a tank and headed to work figuring I could just tough it out. I ended up having to stop and by a pack of smokes before I got to work.[/QUOTE]

On Smooth 8 is the tobacco base more like prime 15 or MidNight Apple. They are closing there free sample of there new juice with a 20 buck order. Not sure if I should order it. I am really really liking there MidNight apple but for their prime 15 I was not a fan of at all. Just figured I should ask around to make sure I don't make a mistake.

If you like Peppermint, Kringle's curse from Halo is awesome !

Liquids are sinduda best Halo. Just have a drawback: the price.

I agree. Just discovered I love the Tribeca and have a few other flavors on the way to sample from a swap but I am afraid that the price will keep Halo from becoming my go-to vendor. I may order on occasion just to have once in a great while but paying .85 a ML or even .66 a ml for the 30ML bottle is just too much when I go through at least 6ML a day. That would cost me almost as much as a pack of smokes a day at that doesn't include paying for whatever you use to vape it in. I think some of these vendors would get a lot more business if they lowered their prices.
