Only after a generous wipedown with some alcohol swabs.

hehe I got 'er outta there quick. She was my backup for work....I cleaned it good right after but didn't help...was dead. I am thinking she wasn't in the bowl long enough to damage her.........just yet :) lol

Clean water is effectively an insulator at vape voltages. And apparently it was dry enough to not fry anything when you turned it on by vaping, or when you charged it.

I'd say you lucked out, and keep on using it. While keeping an eye on it and having a backup.

But I wouldn't keep it as a backup, because I wouldn't trust it

yeah I think I lucked out too. I have an ego mini and a 600 ego type I won but neither stood up to my twist as my work pv. So now I carry the vamo to work and vape in shorty mode...........but! I may twist it and have shorty on backup at work....much smaller while sitting in front of the computer :)

I'd use it....in a heart beat, after a good cleaning. With a back up, or as a back up to a back up...LOL.
Besides I think I remember reading about a student's science project that compared the germs found in an average public toilet bowl to the germs found in an average ice machine at a fast food restaurant. (or was that just a bad dream) :)

P.S. - Congratulations on 6 months too!!!

Yep I'll prob use it still at work and have the vamo on stand by. :) Thanks for the six months congrats!!

Women are always dropping everything in the toilet:/

I'm curious though, did u try to get it out and use it? I wouldn't think water would kill a battery if it wasn't in for long, but what do i know. there are few things id go fishing around in a public toilet for, hell my own toilet...definitely nothing id put near my mouth again lol

If you're not freaked out about germs (an alcohol wipe would do it for me) you might want to see what happens after 24 hours. I dropped one of my Twists in the bathtub, along with a book, and as things were rather chaotic it even took me a while to fish it out. I shook it off, wrapped it in a towel for about 30 seconds, and commenced vaping away. The book is another story.
That was a good while ago and it's still going strong.

So since my twist fell into the bowl (after flushing) I stood it up in the wired desk accessories thingy that I keep my vaping stuff in and it got knocked a little and I saw.........the light flashing a couple of times! I was like this thing is dead.....I tested it. I picked it up and started vaping with it, it is now charging. This twist was a great vape for me while traveling around not at home. Would you still use it? :?:

Tracey

I'd totally use it!

I dropped my BlueAnt bluetooth in the toilet the other day while I was stealth vaping in the stall. I grabbed it out quickly (clean water in the bowl BTW) and wrapped it up in TP. [I have absolutely no idea why I did that, it just seemed appropriate at the time]. The next day - it worked fine...no problem at all AND instead of having to buy a new bluetooth, I bought a VAMO yesterday! Whoot.

There clearly seems to be an issue here though - perhaps some educational videos or training bootcamps for the proper "stall stealth vaping" technique. There have been a couple close calls outlined here...we must put a stop to losing vaping devices and other sundries to the swirly bowl.

And CONGRATS on the milestone :w00t:- as well as the non-smoking, non-vaping, totally cool hubby!!

lol yeah I know me too...why would I put that near my mouth again? What I did was went in fast for it...said a few choice bad words, dried it off with paper towels, hit the button and it was dead. OK I had a backup. I just took it home and set it in my stand I use for vaping and all of a suddent the twist lives. I probably didn't get it real wet inside? Yeah I cleaned it GOOD and it was just the battery, nothing attached.

I've dropped and flooded all of mine numerous times. My 2 Joyetech eGo 1000mah batts are over a year old and still great. My Joyetech twist is about 7 months. The only only I was not happy with and died in 3 months was an 1100mah "egostyle" battery. I guess that means I'm very happy with my name brand Joyetechs. I've also bought them as gifts for others and they seem happy with them also!

I wouldn't use it. I have no good scientific studies to back up my reasoning. I'm just a germaphobe. I know me and every time I went to fire it up, I'd be looking at it and thinking, "You were in my potty." I wouldn't be able to do it.

Someone up-thread said women are always dropping things in the toilet. I'm over fifty and I've never dropped anything in a toilet except for what is supposed to be dropped in there. I don't know how these rumors get started. :p

Congrats on six months! I've been using twists since I started a year ago and I haven't had one die on me yet. But I rotate a bunch of them so it's not like any one of them has been used steadily for the whole year.

Congrats on the 6 months, I'm headed that way.

With anything electrical, if it gets wet DON'T try to use it right away. Let it dry a good while, like over night. I've saved cell phones by taking them apart as far as I could and letting them dry for at least 8 hours. A friend of mine got his expensive fan wet, asked me if running it would heat it up and dry it out. I told him it would heat it up alright, and burn to the ground. Told him to let it sit for 2 days, it runs to this day, about 5 years now.
