Because I only do laundry once or twice a week. I live alone. That doesn’t mean I wear my clothes until they’re disgusting.

I think you were trying to make the point that one must be letting their clothes get really nasty before they wash them, if a load of laundry could contain 2 mls of body oil.

I think that’s a really low estimate though. At least judging by socks I’ve worn this summer

But to render you complete, clothing is in the hamper after 12-14 hours of wear. Bath towels 2 days. Bed sheets changed weekly. Duvet cover every 2 weeks.

Ask you Dad If he had a Shirt that he had spilled 2ml of Maple Syrup on it, would He be Worried about ruining the Washer if He Washed it?

Fwiw,, anyone who has played sports or had a child play sports can tell you wet sweaty clothes are not just water,,, they have an oiliness to them,, thats body fats mixed with the sweat. Wouldn't surprise me 1bit that an article of clothing can have 1\2 pound of water and fats each
